WOLF459356 Roadster 8 Piece Watch Winder with Cover, Black

Like others the initial roadster I received had damage upon opening. One of the latches was loose and didn’t align properly, thus making the case unable to close due to misalignment. Can’t validate if this was from shipping or qa qc from the factory in China. Stuff happens in shipment so let’s just assume it’s that. The rear reason for the lack of a 5 star rating is due to the non-stop blinking lights when the winder is operational. Why on earth Wolfe decided to design this into the system is beyond my understanding. Who wants to see non-stop blinking lights? I contacted Wolfe about this directly and received nothing but radio silence so they clearly know this was a less than prudent design on their part. Otherwise a good product if you like looking at firefly’s non-stop blinking in your bedroom at nighttime while trying to sleep!

Had to return the original unit due to packaging issues (see posts from others). Second unit arrived in perfect condition. Foam inserts to protect the inner box. A fabric cover within the internal box to protect the winder. All in all, a great packaging concept. Not sure why there are so many shipping problems.Unit is VERY EASY to operate. When I read through the small, two page instruction booklet, I was surprised at how simple it was. Don't be afraid to compress the foam to get your wristband around the holder. Also make sure the holder clicks into the winder.

One of the winders didn't function. Had to return. Poor quality control.Received a second unit- all works well.The blinking green LED lights are like a fireworks show at night, will have to move to another location in my room.

It’s perfect! Lights blink but that’s the way the products are. I have other wolf products and that’s how I know they are working properly. Other complaints are that it is noisy. The product is amazingly quiet!

So the Wolf Roadster 8 watch winder I ordered arrived this morning. UPS did a fantastic job, I could have looked at the packaging with a magnifying glass and I assure you I would have found no damage. The winder itself once unpacked was in perfect condition with absolutely no signs of anything being wrong.There are however two issues.1: Not really a big deal because I had no plans to use them.... but the key's for the locks are no where to be found. They just weren't put in the box.2: The top left winder doesn't work. It isn't the LED, I can manually turn the tumbled and the LED lights up and the lights blink. The on off switch simply wasn't wired. All seven other winders work perfect. For those worried about noise, don't be, they are dead silent. I can sit in front of this thing 1 foot away, with the door open, and I won't hear the winders.Reading reviews I knew there was apparently some shipping concerns but my local UPS always does a bang up job so risked it. I can definitely say it isn't shipping that caused this problem. When you have bad QC things happen, and that's the only explanation for this one. I may roll the dice a second time, or I may just try a Volta / go big Orbita instead.
