Pond hasn't been as clean as usual recently despite regular cleaning of the filter and foam. Remembered that it was close to 2 years old now and so purchased this replacement foam. Within 2 days the pond is getting back to crystal clear again. Just goes to show that even with regular cleaning, the filter foams don't last forever. Well worth replacing the foam every 12 to 18 months or so i would say.Very happy.

Fits exactly but quite expensive for a single sponge, alternate suppliers can provide 2 for a pound or two more

Nothing to dislike at all

I have two of these filters which I can use one whilst the other is drying. Easy to clean and replace. Sturdy and fits well.

I bought the pond filter in 2020 and it did what it promised, crystal clear water. I followed instructions and gave the filter a good clean using pond water and not tap water to preserve good bacteria. On my last clean, the filter was like a brick, packed full of algae. So I bought a replacement filter and gave the old one a good wash to be kept as a reserve. It worked straight away, algae, even the long stringy stuff has gone. So, in future I will rotate the filters and thoroughly clean the one I take out.

Excellent product and fitted perfectly.

This is slightly smaller than the original and doesn’t fill the entire filter tray. Once in use it shrinks and gets blocked in about 3 days, about half the time of the original one.
