These are surprisingly impressive! Not only are the metal rims very well made, they’re semi-assembled already, and wow are these tires full of grip! It is often a problem finding reasonably priced tires with good grip, cheap tires are often hard and slick. Even the stock tires on the EZRC 1:18 scale truck I’m putting these on are surprisingly better than average, but not stellar. The stock wheel/tire combo weighs in at 15.84g (0.559oz) while this new metal wheel/tire combo weighs 28.90g (1.019oz) and this adds some nice weight down low in addition to that added grip. For my specific truck I’m going to have to do some trimming on the fenders though as these are just big enough to get caught when turning or squatting.They’re nicely machined rims with just a few little aluminum bits hanging on that easily fall off. The foam inside seems quite nice and not too hard which allows them a good ‘squish factor’ in my opinion. Overall I think it’s a really great set that includes a nice nut wrench which is good because the rims are so deep I’ve found some of my usual tools can’t fit down in there.
