Best product!!
This is the best henna! I just loved it. I was using Lush henna but it was not very good at covering my greys. I have 40 percent greys and have black hair. I just didn't want to go back to chemical dyes. I am so glad that I didn't and I tried this brand. I kept it for four hours, then washed my hair and put some indigo. Kept the indigo for 6/7 minutes. My hair was lovely, shines and my greys covered quite well. Maybe next time I will keep the indigo little bit longer. I just didn't want completely black hair. I love the red burgundy undertone. I think 10/15mins would be perfect timing for indigo. I just cant thank the seller enough for providing such good quality henna. I found it less messy than using Lush henna.i just used hot water, nothing else. I know it is recommended to use lemon juice etc but being a fuss free person I just used water and it worked! Please Sabrina never compromise on your quality! Love love love!!

Not such a good colour
I didn't expect this to be any different to the non organic henna I buy from Renaissance but it was. As always the pack is very well sealed, and the henna powder looked and smelt really fresh. It seemed to need more liquid added to the mix than the others, and is the smoothest henna mix I've tried so far. I set it to one side for dye release, and when I looked at it a few hours later, it had turned so dark, I was alarmed. I suspect it has a very high dye content. It was so easy to apply because of its smoothness, and the easiest henna to wash out I've ever used - it only took about 15 minutes to rinse out. There was less dye shedding over the next few days than usual too. However, it made my hair turn very dark. I have long henna'd hair, and it does tend to darken each time I use it, but not to this extent. There was no orangy tint for the first couple of days, not even on my grey roots which were as dark as the lengths. I quite like a slightly unnatural orange tint, whereas this colour was VERY dark, and very natural looking. Some people might prefer this for the same reason I don't! I will not use this very often, but might occasionally because it's so easy to use and rinse out. It's good quality so have only dropped one star

Great henna
I’ve been buying this henna for the last 5 years and I cannot fault it. It’s very finely sieved so it makes it easy to work with and the colour release is beautifully natural. I have shoulder length porous curly hair and probably use two thirds of the packet, left on for about 4 hours. I always make up the whole packet and freeze the rest for a quick root touch up a few months later. My top tip is to coat the dried henna hair in lots of conditioner, to help with rinsing out.

not for Afro hair
Everyone said this was amaze balls but frankly it left my hair totally dried out. It gives good colour but it's far from a nourishing treatment for Afro hair. So maybe Europen hair but Afro hair... No no no

Gives a good rich colour
Decided to make the switch from chemical hair dye almost a year ago, I have dark brown hair, and have been using a henna/indigo mix to cover my grey roots. I have tried other henna brands but have fond renasance henna to be the best. I tend to make them up separately, then mix equal parts henna & indigo to create a nice brown paste, add to my roots,, wrap head in clingfilm, shower cap and beanie hat, sleep on it then wash out the next morning. Gives a nice rich colour that blends well and no chemicals :-D

best henna I have used
Switched to Renaissance Henna after my previous henna failed to give me a deep red colouron hair as it had previously done.So pleased that I switched! This Henna was stained my fingers within a minute of touching it! Kept it on hair for only 2 hours as a recommend ( normally do 4 hours)Hair colour is brilliant! In summary- Deep red colour in less time!

I'd recommend
It seems good. I've used it a couple of times. Quite a bright colour on my auburn /grey hair but I receive compliments and it improves the shine no end. Easy to mix

Best Henna Ever
This is the best kind of henna you can find. It is so finely ground and when mixed with water, it becomes so creamy. I have about 60% grey; howver, I still have not had the courage to use it with indigo. I still colour my roots with non amonia hair dye then use the henna. The colour I use is usually No. 5. Still I can see the shine and benefit of henna. I might try the indigo soon and stop using chemical dyes.
