Outdoor Research Overdrive Wrap Gaiters

These gaiters keep leaves and sticks and pebbles out of my boots when I'm hiking. I only have 50 miles on them so far, but they seem to be holding up just fine. They are light and breathable so I don't notice them on my feet. They can be installed on any style of hiking boots (that has some kind of heel, of course) in a few seconds and I just leave them on my boots now. I used to wear pants to hike in even on hot days so as not to have to stop to empty my boots all the time and find these gaiters to be a perfect solution to allow me to wear shorts. (Bugs are another story!)

Have used these hard for 1 1/2 years; will likely be able use for another year before the bottom strap wears out. The user needs to wear a shoe or boot with a definite cleft in front of the heel for the strap to go into to hold it in place and to prevent walking right on the strap. As per other reviews, I recommend leaning toward buying a larger size. I won't hike without them to keep rocks and stickers out of my boots.

Light and easy to use. I was worried about the Velcro but it held up fine.

Exactly what I needed to keep debris; snow, rocks, etc out of my trail shoes. 🙌🏼 I can even wear them with my mids and boots too! Perfect addition to great footwear.

I'm a size 7 and got the S/M (supposedly 6-8 women's), but found that these run small. Consider ordering a size up. Other than that, it's very light and breathable, and the straps are sturdy.

Only a 4 because you can not replace or add protective sheathing to the heel strap. They will definitely wear out and will probably only last a season . maybe 2

I ordered these to go over my Merrell Moab low hiking boots, size 8 (women's). According to the size chart, a S/M was the correct size. But they were too small - the sides barely met and left an opening in the front between the two separate Velcro closures. I had to send the S/M size back and order the M/L size.

No more debris in socks or boots. Lace hook. Heavy duty strap under boot. Snug fit on leg wrap fits comfortably. Stays in place all day.Update: Hiking over lava beds on the big Island of Hawaii. No issue with under boot strap. I have given these hard use, great product.

He's an avid scrambler and he really likes these gaiters. Too bad they take so long to ship as they come from Germany of all places. Goofy as they are made in the USA.

Habe in Gr. L/XL bestellt. Passen geradeso mit normalen Schuhen in Gr.44. Haben einen eingenähten Haken, der für was ist? Alles auf Englisch. Wäre schön gewesen in der Artikelbeschreibung darauf hinzuweisen.
