I HAVE A CARUSO MOLECULAR ROLLER SET BUT THIS APPLIANCE HEATS MULTIPLE ROLLERS AT ONCE UNLIKE THE CARUSO. THE CURLS STAY IN..IT WAS A GOOD IDEA!

Perhaps it is because I live in an extremely humid climate (Texas Gulf Coast), but I had to leave the rollers out to dry and hand-dry the inside of the snap-ons that go over the rollers. Other than that, the steam rollers were easier to use on my short hair than any of the other several heat curlers or curling irons I had tried, and they maintained great volume and bouncy curls for two days. They may have lasted longer, but I washed my hair. They heated up quickly. Don't put in your hair if they're too hot to handle comfortably. Let sit a minute so as not to damage your hair.

I love steam setters & have used them since I was a teenager. In the past they lasted for many years. Now they don’t last but maybe two years if you’re lucky. I have always used Caruso Steam setters but in the last couple of years I have had two Caruso setters short out & blow up! Very frightening. I have always used them correctly with the right amount of water. Decided to try the Conair steam setter. I used Conair once several years ago and was happy with it. When it stopped working it just stopped. It didn’t shoot fire! I’m hoping the same with this Conair set. They work so well with my fine hair. I was thrilled to find Conair steam setters available again.

This doesn’t work well, it doesn’t heat up the rollers and the rollers are so small, they should be small, medium and large. I wish I would have returned them while there was still time.

This steamer moistens the curlers too much and takes too long to heat up. The curlers are saturated to where I have to shake the water out before placing them in my hair. After leaving them in for 30 minutes to an hour, my hair doesn't curl well because of the excess moisture. I immediately removed the rollers on the steamer when warm enough and did not leave them steaming for a long period of time. There is no on/off switch, and you just have to unplug the steamer after finishing.

This steam curler set is all we use now to curl our hair! No damage from heat, curls perfectly, the steam heats quickly so it’s not time consuming at all, and they stay in with the covers!

Ugh. I really don’t know where to start. How about I start with the size of these rollers? They’re way too small for me. I have thick hair and these rollers will not hold hardly any of my hair before the clip just pops off. There aren’t enough rollers in the whole pack to finish all my hair. Two sides of this do not emit steam at all. Very disappointing.

I found it not as easy to use as the Caruso Steam Curlers that I've used for years & years, ... but it's good to have a back up.That's all.
