Hybrid Safety Razor with Stand & 10 Premium Japanese Feather FHS Refill Blades - For All Skin Types - Single Blade Razor (White)

I've been using a fixed head single blade razor for the last couple years. I've loved the quality of the shave but ... no matter how carefully I shaved, I always managed to nick myself once or twice. I got tired of dealing with that and decided to try the OneBlade Hybrid razor. Am I glad I did! I get a close, comfortable shave every time. No nicks, no irritation, EVER! This is the best razor I've ever used and I've been shaving a loooong time (I'm 68 years old). Only downside, the blades are proprietary, can't use anything else. They're great for the first shave. The second shave they begin to pull. I have a dense, coarse beard which doesn't help. Since I only shave 2-3 times per week, I've accepted the fact I just need to use a new blade every shave. I can only say: It's worth it.

You can tell its a good quality product, although I think I received a used product. The razor head has scratches on it and so does the handle!! Clearly an item someone had returned that was sold. The packaging of the box had no plastic not even a tape. Quite dissatisfied with amazon.

This is a really well made and easy to use. The blades are sharp and the head bends when shaving to kind of contour with your face. Been using it for awhile and will keep using it. Constant water and zero rusting anywhere, I can’t say the same for some other brands.

I've been using safety razors for over ten years, and the oneblade hybrid has given me the best shave of my life. I usually use a Parker Variant - with feather blades, which allows you to turn a knob and control the amount of blade exposure for milder, or more aggressive shaves. Even with that control, the oneblade comes out ahead without question. With other razors, I either nick myself and have razor burn, or I'm left with stubble even after three passes. With the oneblade, which I at first thought was too mild of a shave, I was able to get completely smooth within three passes. Not ONCE did I ever feel like I was in danger of cutting myself. The pivoting head allows me to apply gentle pressure without ever feeling like I was digging at my face. My wife popped her head into the shower to remark how great my face looked. No irritation at all, and said "your skin feels like you just shaved, but it looks like you shaved yesterday" because my skin was perfectly calm and natural. I'm incredibly happy I chose to give this razor a shot. I hope and encourage, that you do as well.

Recently I bought OneBlade Hybrid razor along with Feather blades. While the finish of this product is quite good (as well as the aesthetics), the performance was below my expectations. The angle of the razor was not at 30 degrees which is the optimal angle for a good shave. I use normal safety razors. OneBlade could not give me a clean shave as the normal ones (I use Merkur C34). I am not happy against the price I paid for this item. If OneBalde can give me any other inputs/information, I will be happy to note.

I wanted to like this product because it looks high tech and solid. However, the included blade, despite being a Feather, does not cut a 3 day growth. Not even barely. It just tugs. After a worthless first pass, I had to complete the shave with another razor & blade. This was the worst performing of 3 different razor & blade combinations that I tried. The best was from "supply", and the second best a Merkur Futur with Feather blade. Amazon insisted I rate this product on "thickness" and "warmth" as part of this review. Useless features if it completely fails to cut hair.

I am not one to write reviews, typically, so since I am, it is because I felt very strongly about how bad this razor is One Blade Hybrid. I watched videos, did my research, and all I can say is "paid review" maybe - or people with not very strong whiskers. Tried this thing multiple times and the worst shave ever. The blades don't seem super sharp and true no nicks but meh. Great design and concept but for me it didn't deliver. Bought the Merkur 38C with Gillette Platinum blades, and was, to be honest, a little intimidated. First pass was better than 3-4 with the oneblade. 3 passes with the Merkur and buttery smooth and NO NICKS at all. So save your money and go with a traditional DE. Oh and the one blade blades are about $1 a piece and last maybe 2 shaves apparently. The Gillette are 50 for $10 - 20c a blade and supposedly last for 5. I can't be bothered to do the math but clearly a lot cheaper haha. Although to be honest if the shave was as good as the Merkur I wouldn't have cared, but not even close - pun intended.
