I like the variety but it's so small, there isn't a lot of space to store the extra parts that have accrued over the years. For the money, it's good. But for someone who is building a lot, you need to greatly increase the size.

Good for figuring out what you need! Then buy that thing at a better price in bulk!

I think I should have gotten this like 5 years ago! This is a great collection of computer screws, standoffs and other parts. The problem with computer building is that the screws are particularly small and hard to find. If you lose one, you're more or less out of luck. It is essential to have a backup supply on hand.Another thing you get with this kit is a swiveling flathead and philips mini screw driver set. Don't underestimate the need for these; it is so much easier to remove or tighten a tiny screw when you can turn the screwdriver while also keeping your thumb on the top of the driver for stability. This allows you to apply consistent pressure while screwing or unscrewing, keeping the tiny screw in place. Oh, and they're magnetic too! That is the difference between success and a smashed in computer screen.Finally, make sure you get some kind of anti-static wristband before you dive in. This kit will make my next hardware upgrade a lot less stressful and I look forward to that.

This is a nice selection of M2 & M3 screws & fasteners, all contained within a plastic case organized into individual compartments. The kit also includes two small screwdrivers, a Phillips and a flat blade, each with magnetized tips (handy for working with the really tiny screws). This collection is very useful for people working with DIY electronics projects, such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, as well as other single board computers, microcontrollers, and small form-factor Intel-, AMD-, and ARM-based computers. It is very appropriate that this kit also includes two different sizes of M.2 SSD retention screws. Believe it or not, some small PC manufacturers do not include these screws, so it is very useful that they are included here.There is a reference card affixed atop the outside of the case lid. It's unfortunate that this reference card is on the outside because it is inconvenient to keep flipping down the top so that you can locate the correct compartment on the inside of the case. It would have been better if it was affixed to the inside lid, but a raised geometric pattern molded into the plastic. An acceptable alternative would be a free-floating reference card that you can store inside the case when it is closed.I almost missed the fact that this kit includes two small screwdrivers, because they are in a separate plastic zip bag that is stuck in the bottom of the cardboard box. So be careful to make sure you remove these if you intend to recycle the cardboard box.The manufacturer is also a bit stingy because there is plenty of room in the compartments containing the smaller components to include extra of each item. These tiny components are extremely cheap when purchased in bulk quantities. This is a fantastic assortment and it comes with a few of just about any fastener you may need to build or maintenance a PC. It's so complete that it actually has thumbscrews in bright zinc and black to match either color of PC case. The organizer is well labeled and actually has a sticker on the bottom warning you not to open it upside down, which helped me to avert a disaster. On the side, the case divider can actually be removed to reconfigure the size of the bins. This may come in handy if I accumulate extras of certain types of fasteners and need to move things around to accommodate them. The included screwdrivers to not have a home in the case and are serviceable, but not the greatest quality. I've always said the best screwdriver is the one you can find, so these will definitely see some use. This kit is a definite buy for the fasteners and organizer alone.

What we have here is just a nice little package of screws you might need for building or upgrading a computer. The m.2 screws and standoffs are the big selling point here, as it's easy to lose the ones that come with motherboards as they are so small, especially if you add a drive a couple years later. The case thumb screws are nice too, as a lot of cheap cases don't come with them, and they are nice to add. The rest of the screws basically take care of everything else you might need, just a great assortment for screws you might have misplaced. Price is very good for what you get.
