I love the shampoo so much! I’ve curly hair and it’s approved by the the curly girl hair method. It has a nice cooling sensation when you apply it and keeps my hair clean for many days.

I’ve struggled with dandruff for years and have tried everything from salon-recommended brands to home remedies. This anti-dandruff shampoo actually made a difference within the first few washes. My scalp feels much less itchy, and the flakes have significantly reduced. The scent is mild and clean—not overpowering, which I appreciate. It lathers well and leaves my hair feeling fresh. I have been using the As I Am dandruff shampoo for I believe three years now. I've had very bad dandruff for as long as I can remember (would touch my head and watch it just fall down like snow), and it was a point of shame for me for a long time. When I got dandruff shampoo, it was expensive, had bad ingredients, and made my hair dry and brittle. This shampoo is relatively inexpensive, first of all. It smells very good, like mint and eucalyptus, which I appreciate after all the nasty ones I tried. My hair is soft, not dry or brittle in the slightest, and shiny (which I do also credit to the As I Am rosemary conditioner!) I will also say that I have struggled with telogen effluvium, and this shampoo has helped me recover from my hair loss and build new growth. I don't shed as much, partly because I'm not scratching. Lovely lovely product! I am a faithful customer, and will continue to be.

Always get this shampoo - makes my scalp feel fresh and really helps with my dandruff. It smells great (I tend to love the tea tree smell, but if you don't like strong scents then maybe not for you). It works really well with helping control dandruff and itchiness in my scalp.

Pleasant smell. Reduced itchiness from the 1st watch. Could be a little more moisturizing but does ok.

my scalp gets really scratchy and unbearable, and this takes all that discomfort away. especially after having my hair and braids or twists. it smells really good—peppermint and tea tree oil, and it lathers nicely so you’re not draining the bottle.
