I wasn't sure what to expect and it was weird getting used to it at first because you sink down in it so much. I have a back injury and have had chronic back pain for 8 years. Sleeping has always been the worst on my back. Since getting this topper I don't wake up in pain every morning and my back feels a lot better in general. I wish I would have tried this sooner! Some people complained about a smell. Maybe there was a slight smell when first opened but it faded quickly. I recommend this topper it's great back support and a great value for the price.

I feel like I sleep much better, because there's so much to sink into I dont toss and turn nearly as much. In fact, getting up can be a bit of a chore, since after settling in it's all uphill to the edge of the bed. I was wanting to replace my mattress as well, but with this topper I dont see how a new mattress would make a bit of difference.

Best investment to make my bed comfortable without spending an arm and a leg! I would definitely recommend everyone buy one of these. I get a great night sleep now every night. My roommates jealous!

Yes, it does have a strong smell right out of the package but if you let it air out a day, it's fine. No, I don't like it because it makes me think of chemicals but memory foam does have a ton of chemicals in it no matter what I think. And we're on a college budget so this was in our price range, and I'm glad I bought it. The important part is, it's soft, and comfortable and holds up well so far. This was bought for my college child and she loves it.
