This has been a complete revelation.We all have different relationships with alcohol; mine is as follows.I am in my early sixties, I clearly drink too much but can always function the next day which might be a curse in itself. The biggest issue apart from the effects on my liver is that my brain seems to find alcohol just plain moreish. If I have one glass of wine, I then want four. Conversely, I can happily go an evening without alcohol, and only drink after about 7pm. But annoyingly, alcoholic drinks taste nice - far better than mocktails in my opinion.So I tried Sentia Gold with an open mind.I looked up what people were mixing it with and plumped for two parts Sentia Gold, three parts freshly squeezed lime (or lemon) and topped it up with Sprite/7Up/equivalent to fill a coupe glass.The taste is demonstrably better than a normal mocktail but not as great as, say, a classic margarita or a glass of decent wine,I find I get a 'hit' quite quickly - faster than wine.I feel a little whoozy and relaxed, and can very slightly slur the occasional word.The effect/half life seems to be shorter than alcohol, but in a good way.I do not find it moreish or addictive, but I will tend to have a second 'cocktail' an hour or so later.There is no hangover. In fact, I seem to have extra energy in the mornings.Just possibly I get the occasional mild headache when drinking it - it is hard to say given there are plenty of colds and viruses about.Personally, I don't think I will drive a car etc straight after drinking it, just to be on the safe side.Best of all, it seems to put me off wanting to drink alcohol proper.I appreciate we are all different, but I would urge people to give this a whirl.I have not tried the other flavours yet - Sentia Gold tastes a bit like orange cordial.

Disgusting taste and gave me the most horrendous headache worse than any hangover. No relaxing benefits whatsoever

They taste is very bitter and like most of these flavours there’s an aftertaste but they work great for me and you can experiment with mixers to counteract that. I feel more and more relaxed as I drink it and get a slight buzz. But not the same alcohol, it’s more subtle, if you’re a heavy drinker and want to use this as a substitute, you will be expecting too much.But it helps me cut out that glass of wine or two watching TV during weekday evenings - large wine/gin glass - 30ml shot, Lots of ice, Tonic, lime, a dash of ginger syrup and vanilla to counteract the bitterness, makes a nice sipping drink.

I thought I would try this as no one likes a hangover it’s got a very odd taste but when mixed with orange juice isn’t bad. I can’t say I felt any effects whatsoever from drinking it, so not going to be buying this again and the price is quite high which is another reason I won’t be buying it again

Omg super happy with this.My friend told me about it, and as I have an intolerance to alcohol for past 8 years, I thought I’d give it a go.This is a total game changer, I had two drinks mixed with Coke before my night out (approximately 50-70ml id say.Went to a bar to meet friends and definitely felt very relaxed and basically like I’d had a few glasses of wine. My partner who does drink tried it also and he said he felt drunk. We were just chatty and giggly and super relaxed.The taste is kind of strange. It tasted a bit gingery to me like ginger ale mixed with Coke. I think next time I would try it with tonic. But it was pleasant.I really hope they start stocking this in bars.100% recommend trying this.

Something in this really hits the spot. Gives me a great feeling of ease and positivity.

Having been a non-drinker for many years I have tried lots of the alternatives and have found many too be undrinkable and a few quite pleasant. This one is not quite pleasant. I have bought Sentia Red and Black and enjoyed them in the past. This however is like some undiluted cheap neon 1980s orange and tropical fruit squash with washing up liquid in it. I shall edit this review if I find a mixer that makes it more tolerable or freeze it into lollies or something.

Bought as a gift but it says on the bottle its not suitable for someone with hypertension so they can't drink it and apparently I cannot return it.
