This has been the best air bed I’ve ever had! Purchased back in 2018 (it’s now almost 2026) and I just now have to add a couple patches. Coming to review because I think it’s time to buy a new one. Super easy and quick to inflate and deflate. I used it as a long term mattress for 6mos until I got a bed, and have had many friends and family use it over the years. Everyone says it’s comfortable by itself. I’ve also added foam mattress toppers to make it even more comfy. It’s also compact so fits in my closet or anywhere easily and I can also transport it easily in its carrying case. I can’t believe it’s lasted this many years!

WOW super impressed with the quality and comfort of this air mattress. Not only is it easy to set up but it is also very comfortable for people of all ages. It is perfect height and does not loose air like other air mattress. We had to air it up late at night due to a flight delay and our son was sleeping less than 20 feet away and he had no idea because it was so quite to air up! We like it more firm so we fill it to the max and it does not got flat! I had to reach out to customer service about something that I thought was wrong but turned out to be operator error. Needless to say they have the absolute BEST customer service ever! They stand by their product, provide quick response and will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. I wish more companies would follow in Sound Asleep's customer service moto and stand by their products as much as they do! Do not buy any other product you will regret it because if you did need them they will ensure you are taken care of!

First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers!

Had my first Sound Asleep mattress for over 6 years, and it got quite a lot of use. Motor was still going strong before it got a puncture. Purchased my second one for this holiday season. Customer service is amazing and the product it great. You can actually sit on the side of the mattress and it still holds up! Highly recommend.

We received this Queen-sized air mattress on Oct 1, 2016. We had two Insta-beds before that. They each lasted a year before showing the occasional tiny hole near one of the upper coil seams (which was easily repairable, if I kept the patch small and waited 8-12 hrs for the patch to cure). On the Queen Insta-beds, they both lasted us 1 1/2 yrs before they finally failed completely. This SoundAsleep Dream Queen mattress lasted us 5 weeks before it developed a leak somewhere. I gave it two weeks waiting to see if I could find a hole on the upper surface. Eventually, the leak meant I had to partially refill it 3-4 times every night. Ugh. But I'd fixed many such leaks so figured I could fix this one if I could find it. No such luck. After two weeks and numerous careful examinations, I could not find the leak, incl inflating it in the dining room and examining all sides and the bottom. Nothing. No leak to be seen, yet it was losing air quickly (it needed a top-up every two hours or I couldn't get out of bed due to the soft-taco shape!) I figured I was past the return period and on my own. But reading of others here who had had an excellent customer service experience, I decided to email them via Amazon and report the problem. This was THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING.They responded personally by email within 4 hours (shock) and gave me a number to call (347-815-5995, in case anyone else needs it). I phoned the number not expecting them to be open the day before a major holiday or expecting to hear a voice from India or the Phillipines ... boy, was I wrong. A human in the US answered me promptly, heard my story, checked my purchase and issued me a replacement mattress. Wow. Now THAT is incredible customer service. I will add that I was understandably chided for using this mattress daily (fair enough) and told that they don't warranty such daily use. But given how quickly it failed, they would replace it this time. Due to back issues, I need a very firm bed. I've been using a queen air bed for over 3 years now. With a 2-inch memory foam topper, they are the most comfortable I've ever used. And this SoundAsleep mattress is the most flat and firm I've used. I love it ... sans the early (possible pump) leak. So I expect these about-$100 queen air beds to develop a leak after a year or so (with repairs making it last about 1 1/2 yrs before needing a replacement.) But the Insta-beds tended to stretch and with filling would eventually be higher in the middle than the edges. This SoundAsleep air mattress after nearly 2 mo, has held its shape better than the Insta-bed. But the early leak is disappointing. ... Yet the customer service and response is fantastic. Out of 5 stars, I'd give them 7 stars! Very impressive. For others also using an air bed daily, I'll add that I've made a high-sided bed frame (like a box) to fit the queen-sized bed in so this helps to prevent the sides of the air bed from bulging out and lessens stress on the bed.) So here is how I rate this mattress out of 5 stars: * Holds shape: 5 stars * Stays flat on top (no bulging): 5 stars * Stays inflated: 1 star (before the leak, it was a 5 star after the initial stretching) * Pump quality & seal: maybe 3 stars (I wish it had an auto-off and pressure setting like the Insta-bed) (If the pump was the cause of the leak, then it gets only 1 star, though occasional factory defects happen.) * Durable PVC rubber thickness & quality: 4 or 5 stars * Customer Service timely response: 5 stars * Customer satisfaction from the service call: 7 stars! They were MORE than fair and honest with me. And they stand behind their product. I deeply appreciate that. I realize that daily use is hard on the PVC rubber and eventually this year, we may try to go back to a regular mattress, though they are usually not firm enough unless we spend a lot of $$$'s. In the meantime, having a comfortable queen-sized air mattress for $100 every 1 1/2 years is doable for us. Hopefully, this mattresss leak was just a one-off issue. We shall see. I'll update my review on the replacement mattress a few months after it arrives. But whatever I find, their customer service has already really impressed me. Thank you, SoundAsleep Customer Service! This by far the best product for home use. I have tried multiple brands and this is thee best, Customer service is far above any expectation. Easy to contack, fast responce to any question. the staff is very friendly and the company produces a great product. I wold recomend it to alll my friends and family. Thank you for such products and service. very easy inflation , setup, deflation and storage. this could even be used long term if needed, very comfortable. Thank you again.

The air mattress is great. The mattress inflates well. You cannot over fill it. It deflates fast with the pump. The cord could be longer. The motor isn't quiet but it's fine. It holds air very well. Until it didn't. After almost two years of a lot of use it started leaking from within the motor. The mattress comes with a 1-year warranty. But I was outside of that warranty. I emailed SoundAsleep and they expedited a mattress to me. No charge. Even being outside of their warranty. There no back and forth. Just form then sent. This was a great mattress to begin with. But with warranty and customer support this is the only mattress.

WE absolutely love this air mattress! So comfortable and so easy to operate! BUT, equally important and worth highlighting in bold is SOUND ASLEEP HAS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE we have ever encountered! An issue developed while under warranty. We left a text on the website which was replied to immediately, and within 24 hrs a new mattress was on the front doorstep! And in the busiest holiday week of the year. I call that above and beyond the call of duty! Highly recommend to one and all!
