Works with APEC RO systems
Worked fine with my APEC RO system. This membrane is way less expensive than the one APEC sells.

Excellent Membrane
I work in industrial water treatment with ROs that have up to 168 membranes at 8" each. We are very nearly Dupont/Filmtec loyal and for a valid reason. They have the best membranes and their organization is the best at what they do. Very knowledgeable and very much experts in the field. While this little membrane of novelty size is much smaller and less serious, it is still of very heavy high quality. There's is not another membrane on the market that will perform over a long period of time at the level that Filmtec does. This membrane is capable of so much more, but given the environment it's been put in (poor pretreatment and low feed pressure) it still does an excellent job. Definitely recommend.

much cheaper than other sites
I use this in my APEC RO-PH90. This is a fabulous price, and I am grateful because my last membrane went after 2 years instead of the reported 5 year life. The first membrane I received had holes in the plastic packaging (directions say not even to touch it during installation so I figured holes in packaging probably compromised the membrane) so they sent another and I returned the initial membrane. It fit perfectly and the system is back to working properly.

Saved money. Works well.
RO company wanted over $135.00 for a new RO assembly. This one fit in the housing and works great. Saving a Benjamin on this replacement is awesome. Note, I did verify the flow restrictor and check valve were good.

Dow/Filmtec makes one of the best RO Membranes in the business. I have 0 TDS water
*I have been using Dow/Filmtec RO Membranes for a decade.* There has not been any changes in the quality of this product during that time. My tap water is 184 TDS post RO filter and 0 TDS after filtration and I've included photos with a TDS meter. I see a lot of negative reviews on a good product and I'll try to clear up some of the misconceptions with my review. First - Dow/Filmtec is known for making one of the best RO membranes in the business hands down. There is only one other more expensive brand I can name that some claim is slightly better but it will produce water even slower which is upsetting many reviewers here. If your goal is to produce the purist R/O water possible which is 0 TDS you can't go wrong with this membrane. I recently ordered a replacement filter after a few years of use and I'm producing water with 0 TDS which is 0 total dissolved solids. I'll now try to clear up the misconceptions. The rejection rate is around 98% which is SLOW and you want SLOW the higher the rejection rate the more efficient the filter is and the more money you'll save and I'm about to explain why. The higher the rejection rate the longer your DI resin filter will last. Water flows through this RO Membrane and into your DI resign which is the finale filter that works the hardest and is the last line of defense against dissolved solids in your water column and if your filter is setup properly will bring your TDS down to 0. You want the rejection rate high so the least amount of solids make it into your DI resign which is the most costly filter to maintain and that processes of rejecting contaminants in the water at a 98% rejection rate causes the water to be made slowly. The Next big misconception is not realizing the filters before your membrane are the biggest factor in how long not only this RO membrane will last but any of them will. R/O membranes have a chlorine tolerance of >0.1 ppm. If any chlorine manages to pass through your carbon filters because their exhausted or low quality and reach the membrane it is instantly ruined and you can throw the membrane in the trash. That is why the pre carbon filters must be kept in working order. I use this membrane to make water for my reef systems and I have a large reservoir to hold the water. The output is as stated around 75 gallons over a 24 hour period. If you live an area with extremely high TDS the process will be even slower because your filters need to work harder and also won't last as long. Keep in mind some cities have been adding chloramine to tap water for a secondary disinfectant which is ammonia based without residents knowing. You will need a different carbon filter in your water filtration system to remove it. Check with your city if you can't seem to get your water filtering correctly and ask. *If you did find this review helpful please leave a helpful up vote. Quality reviews with factual information take a long time to write and I do it to help the community.* Thank You 5 Star Product -Thumbs Up!

Defective Membranes
I purchased these for our RODI unit and they were crap!! I ended up having to order 2 more through BRS because these were defective. They only produced a 66% rejection rate which is much less than I needed it to be when making water for my aquariums. Luckily it didn't cause too much damage, but I will not trust ordering anything for my RODI unit from here again.
