I was excited to receive this as I have loved Jamaican blue mountain coffee since my honeymoon there 26 years ago.Unfortunately this roast is quite frankly unpleasant. The unusual aroma I put down to packaging but on grinding a day later there was no improvement. I stuck with it and brewed, only to be further disappointed. There is none of the smoothness associated with this bean. The strange compost smell impacted the coffee with a bitter unpleasant finish.Huge disappointment.I will not be buying from this producer again.

Blue Mountain coffee is very expensive and I bought these beans because I remember many years ago drinking Blue Mountain coffee and being blown away by the flavour. We ground the beans to a 'sand' consistency and using 30g of coffee in a cafetierre made two 200 ml cups of coffee. What a disappointment: there was hardly any coffee taste.I won't be buying them again.

Blue mountain coffee is a treat not to be missed. Just opening the foil package releases lovely aromas. we use a "maintain-temperature" kettle heated for 10 minutes and the result is delicious.

Definitely not genuine. Bitter, flavourless and without roasting date.
