This is a lovely kitchen set for a toddler to learn with. I would caution the use of the crinkle cutter though, because it is quite sharp. The gloves will protect little hands, but hands are too apt to slip, even for adults. I would also like to caution against the use of the plastic cutting board as it is known that they should not be washed with chlorinated water as this makes them carcinogenic. Nonetheless, it is a great size for practicing on.This is a little more expensive compared to others on the market, but others don't offer the safety gloves. It will help teach children kitchen safety, dexterity and is generally safe to use for small, vulnerable hands due to blunted edges, but will still cut most food.
