I got a door for our dining room that ended up having a very narrow stile. It also has glass in the panels, so a normal back set would not have worked. This fits perfectly and will have the door knob in the middle of the stile. The square hole for the post post is I believe 9 mm, it's just slightly too big for the vintage knob and post that I have, but it still works. Amazing find!

This thing is supposed to fit Schlage door handles with the rectangular center bar that connects the two handles. I had to file the hole that accepts the lock to get this to fit properly. It doesn’t fit out of the box. If you do not have a small file set you won’t be able to fit this. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only option available.

Had to get an adapter for the shank but great replacement for very hard-to-find deadbolt latch that fell apart.

Needed this to replace an old latch with a very narrow non standard backset used on an old narrow stile glass door. It will mate with a standard square drive shaft on Schlage locking entry door sets. Works great.

Spring is too weak.

Overall length was just what we needed BUT Latch spindle hole was smaller than standard - did not fit my handle set from Home Depot.
