The base is safe and this bassinet clicks into place. The sides will also show Green so that you know it’s clicked in correctly. ❤️ the company itself allows you to do free tuneup. ❤️ awesome colors ♥️ also fits the stroller ❤️ comes with an extra piece under the hood to protect from the sun if extra shade is needed. This extra shade can be closed pretty much all the way, and has a net on the sides for breathing ❤️ removing the bassinet from the base is super easy and one click ❤️ not heavy, definitely manageable ❤️ you can place the baby to face you or face in the opposite direction when on the stroller ❤️ when on the base, you still have the choice to move it and rock your baby ❤️ fits The V2 base ❤️ you can purchase separately a plastic for the bassinet specifically if you’re going to use it for the stroller in order to cover the baby from rain or wind ❤️ the pad that the baby lays on comes with a protector that is washable and removable. FYI Make sure you put a sheet to cover the pad that the baby lays on. You can even use a baby towel and put one of the rounded sides inside the head part of the towel.

But once I got familiar with all its features (give it a day or two), I realized just how well-designed this bassinet really is. The quality is outstanding - from the premium fabrics to the ventilated mattress pad. Each compartment and zipper serves a purpose, making it incredibly functional once you learn the layout. The sunshade extends generously, and the breathable canopy keeps baby comfortable in any weather. Don't let the initial learning curve deter you - it's absolutely worth taking the time to understand all the features. This bassinet has clearly been designed with both baby's comfort and parent's convenience in mind. Now that I know my way around it, I can't imagine using anything else. An excellent investment for your little one's first months.

Pricey, but family loves to go on walks with baby, and this is very well designed and made. Reasonably sturdy and lightweight (for what it is). I haven't tried other brands to compare, but I did not want to deal with buyers remorse/potential return for a cheaper product since I would only be using it maybe 6-8 months (for now). I expect the secondary market might not be too bad when the time comes, but even without that, we have taken this out plenty to justify the purchase.

I bought this to attach to the ridge stroller. It snaps on and off very easily and quickly. On the ridge, it does have the effect of taking an already large stroller and making it larger, but it’s been a very comfortable travel option for my little one. The bassinet blocks sun and light well when we need it, and it can fold very flat for storage. I felt like it was a little pricey, but it was a good addition to my stroller and I hope to be able to use it in the future. My baby is 26 inches long so she is starting to look a little cramped in there now, but I figure I can always hold on to it in case I need it in the future.

Uppa baby is very high quality. Bought this along with the stroller for my grand daughter. It’s absolutely beautiful and easy to attach. Happy with my purchase.

Purchased for a baby shower and it was a hit. My sister in law is on her third kid and swears by this bassinet. A little pricey but it seems to hold up well, also versatile as you can use in the stroller and in your nursery if needed!

Very luxurious bassinet. No complaints about it overall excellent design. Has ventilation, it's water resistant. Baby loves it. For the price I would say some electrical heating inside would be nice as well. We had to install our own heating for the cold winter.

A luxury spend for sure but we’ve gotten a ton of use out of this bassinet. Excellent quality and very functional.

Having a newborn in the summer means that I got so much use out of this! I love the green color. The ventilation on this updated version of the bassinet is incredible for the summer. The mattress is comfortable. The bassinet looks very sleek and I get compliments all the time it’s nice to easily detach and bring into the house if the baby falls asleep on the walk.

I hesitated so much on buying this before baby came and I’m so glad I did. We use it almost everyday. Whether it’s in the stroller, being used as a travel bassinet or just a place for her to hang out. The ventilated sides are so nice in the summer and for indoor sleeping for airflow, but they zip closed and it stays super warm in there in the winter for walks too. My little one is 4 months old now and almost outgrowing it as she is super long and wants to sit up all the time, but we will still use it as a travel bassinet until she exceeds the weight limit as it’s rated for safe sleep. She sleeps better in this bassinet than her bedside one!
