Sturdy and functional
After being sorely disappointed purchasing another top-rated tray, I started my search again for a better travel tray for my 2.5-year-old toddler. We travel cross-country every year by plane so I wanted something my son could use while sitting in his car seat during the long flights. This may not be as cute or attractive-looking as the tray I returned, but this functions WAY better (function always trumps looks!). The walls are made of thick, rigid material and the velcro holding them together is secure and heavy-duty. I really like the generous size of the side pockets. I can easily fit regular-sized markers in the pen slots and the zipper pocket on the other side can fit plenty of goodies for travel. There is a zipper beneath the tray that is easily accessible when the tray is folded and buckled. While the zippered compartment is pretty tight, I can fit several thin coloring and sticker books. The selling point for me were the little square holders atop the tray surface. They are simple to attach and detach should you need the entire tray surface. The tablet holder is just okay—not very tall and the border would impede in the viewing area, but I’m not planning on using it as a tablet holder so it’s not a loss for me. In fact, I used it today for my son’s Priddy book—perfect fit. It held the book open and upright while he ate his lunch in the car. There are ample pockets on either side of the tray walls, and the surface material seems like it will withstand plenty of use. I did detect a bit of a chemical smell upon opening the tray, but after a day, I can no longer smell it. I wiped the surface down before its first use and placed a disposable placemat (the kind that sticks to tables) before allowing my son to eat on it. He enjoyed his meal and the car ride, so I’d say this is a winner. Note: I used this in the car rear-facing and as you can see, the tray sits a bit high against my son and is at an angle due to the positioning of his car seat. Still, it worked fine.

Amazing for kids
Love this. Helps with keeping the little entertained during car rides, great for his tablet to watch cartoons and holding my phone. Looks just like the picture and fits in the car. Easy to carry from the house to the care and not hard to put together or take apart

Long Trip Lifesaver
We bought this for a 10 hour car trip with an almost-2 year old and it was definitely worth the money. He was able to play with toys and have snacks on board, or have the tablet with movies in front of him without actually being able to reach it (and turn it off). Lots of pockets and places to put things, and easy to wipe clean. (He got carsick and puked all over...twice. Heavy sigh.) It's more flimsy than I thought, but sturdy enough. It's also rather big, so it was a little awkward for him at that age, and covered everything from his chest to his feet, but he didn't seem to mind. There's also plenty of space for him to grow into it and get plenty more use out of it.

So great for car trips
Bought these for my grandchildren for a cross country car trip. They worked just like I hoped. Great for coloring and snacking and reading. Worth every penny!

My son loves it.
I got this for a camping trip comming up. My boys with be in the car for several hours and I needed something to help keep toys on the lap n drinks n such. My son opened it a week early and brings it every where he goes. It's easy to set up n take down. It's sturdy , the lip keeps food crumbs off clothes n car, holds pens, markers, hold water bottle just fine. They can draw n watch tablet too.Ive done a lot of research to get best for my money and sturdy for my boys. And im soo glad this was my first pick. Plus it works with booster seats!

Gets messy easily
Very durable, and nice to look at. If you’re planning on letting your kids eat, draw, or do anything messy, I would suggest getting one with a hard ‘dry erase style’ tray. Seems like it will last. Doesn’t hold tablet well, and makes it too far away for my two year old to reach and pull out when put in the slot. The other one I bought for my one year old is better due to a washable tray, and a separate tablet holder that stands up and holds the whole tablet.

Fantastic tray table and a must-have!!
I am so excited and glad I decided to purchase this table. My 4 year old son was able to use it for the entire 6 hour drive there and 6 hours back - it worked for the beginning of our trip when we had food to eat, and then throughout the long hours as he played with different toys and crafts. It is very well made, the velcro is strong and the buckles are great quality. It is even built well for the little things that we don't think about - like making the buckles reachable for their little hands and arms. My son had it on almost the entire time, even when he took a nap. It is very unobtrusive, but present in all the spots necessary. I was actually amazed that he didn't make more of a mess with some of the crafts I gave him to play with. The first road trip I took without this tray, I gave him an entire bucket of tiny rubber bands to play with (don't judge, these coupled with clothespins kept him busy for hours!) and I found rubber bands for weeks afterwards even with multiple vacuum events. When I gave him similar items to play with, paper to cut with, pipe cleaners and fuzz balls, I was amazed that I only found one or two items on the ground. This is just a must have for any traveling parent.
