I personally didn't like the taste, texture, But everyone else did. I made...adult shaped cookies for my sister's all girl adult party and she told me to make them stand out. What more the metallic looking cookies xD

I got these to mix into bubble solution, which works great since it's so fine. It would be easy to paint on iced cookies or cake as well for a really fun and festive decoration. Colors are vibrant and a little goes a long way.

Made some cupcakes for Halloween with my grandkids and these colors came in handy! We colored pumpkins and different colored ghosts on white icing and they came out great! It was fun to use the brushes and we used small candies to decorate. Overall, I'd recommend this set. The colors shine!

These came today & I couldn’t wait to try them out, so I painted almonds just for the fun of it. The colors are vibrant and they are so shimmery. It dries pretty quickly, too. The paints do stain. I touched one & washed it off right away, but my finger is still a little bit blue. However, they are food colors, so that is to be expected. These are used full strength to paint the almonds in my picture. I like how it didn’t take very much of the paint in order to get full coverage of the almonds. The paint brushes in the containers leave something to be desired. They are rather stiff & several of them are split (see my picture for an example.) The paint does have a slightly sour taste. Not bad tasting, just sort of lemony. However, I was particularly trying to taste it. The taste is mild. I wouldn’t expect it to be obvious in most uses. I’m super excited to be using these to decorate other items!

Our daughter is in love with all things sparkle so these seemed a good fit as we get into proper cookie decorating seasons like Halloween and Christmas. The sparkle in these is essentially mica. There's not a ton of it in there but it is known to just pass through your body. I saw a few photos already with the ingredients (not listed in the listing for some reason) so you can do your research on potassium aluminum silicate. It's generally considered safe by most, but there are always folks that worry.In any case... The brushes on these are pretty much useless, but I didn't get it for the brushes. Use your own fine paint brushes and you'll have a much better experience decorating with these. Colors are bold and bright and the sparkle is clearly visible. Definitely fun way to add a little pop to your cookies and other baked goods!

It's a great set. Lovely shimmer to it. & colors are bold & vibrant.Only knocked odd a star cause I will need to get extra brushes for some.I have one stiff brush that's split in half stuck. A few brushes being stiff bent as shown in pics.Out of all 7 only 3 had perfect brushes ready to be used & not need a brush replaced.

I love how it's a multi colour set with small sizes. I don't often use these, so I find that a lot can go to waste or I need to find an excuse to use them.This small set makes it easier to do small batches occasionally without worrying about being forced to use the same colour next time around.AND the best before day is 5 years out. when even sometimes the bigger bottles I usually get are usually 3 years out.There's no way any of these is going to waste for me
