The Greenhouse Expert (Expert Series)

It’s a world best selling book, one out of a collection of fantastic, accurately written books. Easy to read , straight to the point facts. Useful for novice to expert. Will be using for years ahead. Love the way it clearly gives straight forward advice month by month. No need for a shelf full of books, this one does it all.

We bought this book as we were about to purchase a Greenhouse, it is very informative, gives lots of advice on what to buy, what to buy to kit it out, also informs you of how to grow in the greenhouse. The gardening calander is very useful for beginners like us. We have now purchased our greenhouse and it is being delivered this week. Look forward to some seasonal and fresh veg this summer.

I have A lot of these books and like them alot. I'm building my own 6x4 greenhouse and wanted some ideas. For a beginner this book is useful, but I found they was a lot of information cross over from his other books which I have most of them. I still like this book, it's set out in plain English and very easy to follow. I will still use and get valuable information from it. Over all good book.

This is the third time I have bought this book - it is so well used that I have needed to replace it (although once it get get a soaking). I wholeheartedly recommend this - it's thorough and informative. I have also recently upgraded my copy of the Garden Expert (same series) by buying the Green version (with lots of environmental tips). They really do compliment each other, especially if you are trying to make your garden more nature-friendly.

This is a great book for anyone starting out with a new greenhouse and wants to be as efficient as possible.My only gripe is that all measurements are imperial - it needs to be brought up to date with metric measurements.

New to greenhouse. Good starter book

Quite old fashioned in layout and text. Often not very informative for me, a first time greenhouse owner. Much of the book was not relevant as it deals with what kind of greenhouse to buy and how to build it - I'd already done that. Then it stated that 'watering' was THE most crucial thing to get right and offered the following advice: too much water - leaves curled yellow and wilted, too little water: leaves curled yellow and wilted. That boosted my confidence! Too many pages of lists of plants, just general gardening know how and a direct lift from his other books. Doubt I'll ever look at this book again.

I have a number of copies in this series and now have a new greenhouse so without hesitation I ordered The Greenhouse Expert to help me with my greenhouse as the other books have helped me with my gardening. Good price an super quick delivery.

This book is amazing. It has so much information.

Finalmente un manuale che ti insegna tutto in breve, corredato da schemi, disegni foto e soprattutto il calendario per la gestione di quanto coltivato in serra, compresi i capitoli su problemi di gestione della serra, malattie delle piante e insetti dannosi. Tra l'altro come usato è convenientissimo! È praticamente nuovo!!!

This isn't a book I would necessarily sit down and read cover to cover but it is a great book for reference. The author brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the book and I am pleased to have this as a "go to" book when we run into questions with the greenhouse.

It was a gift for someone who had built a greenhouse over the summer. She loves it; it answered a lot of questions she had been having.

I love my new book!!!! It is in excellent condition and arrived in a timely manner. Can hardly wait for fall to be here to use this book in my new greenhouse!!!
