Have only had the strimmer/trimmer a couple of weeks but so far I am very impressed, comes with clear instructions for assembly and plenty of spares. Feels well made and good quality when using it, so far have used the nylon strimmer for cutting our grass with the guide skids attached, did a great job, then switched to the metal blade for trimming several thick bushes in the front garden which it coped with no problem, after about 45 min of constant use the battery is still on 87% so very impressive, it’s easy to change cutting implements and to change handle length and head position for cutting. As said before it’s a godsend this tool for us as we have a large swing in the back garden which a lawn mower doesn’t fit around and a small front garden and being cordless means no facfing with extension leads anymoreDefinitely recomed this strimmer/trimmer to anyone looking for a great multi use tool . Compared to what else is in the price range this machine is an absolute beast. Really powerful and one battery lasts ages and this comes with 2. I found the plastic strimmer blades a bit fragile so I have made a solid plastic blade from an old chopping board using the brush cutter blade as a template. This makes edging along paths and borders an absolute breeze.This replaces a Spear & Jackson cordless strimmer from Argos which for more money has only 1 function.

An effortless grass trimmer!With 3 in 1 ways of cutting ,this grass trimmer is more thean enough to look after my garden.As a single mother .I needed something efficient,fast and simple tu use ,lightweight and that is doesn’t take much storage space which isn’t available in my case.Luckily,this trimmer doesn’t require more space than what a brush would take.It comes with loads of accessories so you are good to go as you open the box.My lawn is quite uneven and bumpy and it kinda damage the trimmer ,however this one will do perfectly thanks to the 2 side raisers.It comes with two batteries so I don’t need to worry about not having battery when needed.Effective ,fast ,easy to cut the grass and over grown weeds.Currently on sale so grab a bargain!

You get what you pay for, very cheap and low quality.Ordered as a reviewer to test the functionality however upon opening the unit was damaged, this damage was brought about mainly due to the rather cheap brittle plastic used.Now as a trimmer / cutter this does have the power however a closer look at they motor gearing and the main drive shaft on this unit once again shows it will not last too long, you can hear the internal gears grind against each other nand the main drive shaft is very noisy under load and has way too much play in it form poor bearings.This would only be good for light use in small gardens, any thicker brushing seriously puts pressure on the gearing and dramatically starts to bump up the gearing and motor.The supplied blades are of decent quality and are very easy to change, The strimming wire though are single cutting loop lengths that just hook over the bolts so this does not have a option to purchase your own and this no feed cartridge like every other strimmer, you are locked in to purchasing specific lock loops of strimming wire "big No No for me".The one decent saving grace with this kit is the 2 batteries, the case was opened up to check the cells and was happy to see that they were genuine 2000 mAh cells, in a series of 3 this does equal 6000 mAh so are decent 6Ah packs.Final thoughts: This for me as a usable garden tool is just too cheap, if on a budget then this could be a decent purchase but for longevity i would say not. Thankfully the batteries are decent and they are the Power Share type so can be used on other devices as other tools share the same connector setup. not being able to use your spool of choice for the nylon strimming line is a big backwards step and a pain to change every time one breaks, for me this is a 3 star strimmer set that tries to do too much and in turn then lessens the product.

Only used once.Blade got stuck on a small branch and now will not work waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. I'm extremely pleased with this strimmer. At under fifty quid it's excellent value and is have been pleasantly surprised at just how good the quality is. The materials are excellent and the build quality is flawless, if I wasn't aware at the budget price I'd have thought it was a premium tool. The only aspect that really gives it away is the batteries and not because they aren't good, just because they have the generic budget tool brand appearance.To be honest I've not used the additional features besides the standard strimming function. I will say I've no doubt they'd work just fine, I'll update this review when I do.It strims really well and i really like how easy it is to change the strimming cable. However, it isn't explained well in the instructions.It's lightweight and easy to operate and handle.It feels safe to use and it's ergonomically friendly and well designed to handle.The battery has plenty of life and as there are two of them it's more than capable of managing my whole gardens.In conclusion, it's excellent value well designed, reliably good quality and very well thought of features.
