Framing square that gets the job done at a very reasonable price.
Easy to read numbers, nice finish, and a durable framing square that does the job for less than half the price of other brands.

Good quality tool, great price, many, many uses!
I am very pleased with this carpenter's square. I've been needing to buy one for a while, along with a combination square(which I still need to buy) as I only had a speed square. We are finishing our basement, step by step and buying materials each week and then when we have enough of a certain material, we can do some work. We just finished insulating the cinderblock walls with foamboard insulation and now it's time to start buying framing materials. The day this came in the mail, I was still installing small pieces of foamboard here and there(for some reason, the previous owners thought itd be a good idea to smash a bunch of block out to run two ducts into the added on crawlspace and just stuff fiberglass insulation in the hole) and my speed square was too small and my T-square was too big to help me cut straight lines into the foam with a razor knife. The carpenters/framing square helped out big time. I was also able to use it to re-square my compound sliding miter saw both blade to fence and blade to table using the framing square. I will once again use it to help insure that my chalk lines for my soon to be built walls are at a "perfect" 90 degree angle from each other. As you can see, this tool has many, many uses and I barely scratched the surface. I was very happy with the quality for the price. I am only a DIYer, so only take my review from that perspective as I dont know how it would hold up to every day jobsite abuse

This is IT
This is no flimsy framing square. It's well made and will serve it's purpose for many many years. Markings are nicely etched and I'll check for square when my machinists square arrives and I'll update any discrepancies.Update: Checked with my machinists square and this thing is on point. Only a microscopic gap on the outside 90degree. I'm super impressed. Best 10$ framing square I've seen

It is a square scale
I use this to make straight lines for foam core walls. I can't give it a 'normal' review because I'm not using it for its intended purpose. It was sturdy and will do what I want. I haven't checked the scale for accuracy nor have I checked to see if it is square according to its size.

Use Two for Adjustable Puzzle Framing
I'm using 2 of these carpender squares as adjustable framing around puzzles. The the long edge on the overlapped corners is raised slightly, but still holds the puzzle pieces. The weight is light enough that even with 2 squares and a 1/8" thick piece of masonite, the whole thing is easy to pick up and move when needed.

Great for working on my guitars, would not recommend for carpentry.
I would use a heavier metal square for any carpentry work. What I’ve been doing a lot of lately is setting up guitars, cutting small pieces of wood, and the square is perfect for that, when I matched it up to my steel square that must be about 40 They were exactly the same angle, as far as reading the numbers I’m not sure I just got it and I really don’t need to read the numbers too much just need to make sure the guitar fretboard his level and the frets are level. And when you’re working on a guitar you don’t wanna heavy Square, you want something light weight like this it’s perfect.

Accurate, double sided and cleans up nicely
It's a perfect little straight edge! I use this for automotive stuff, figuring out wheel sizing and getting measurements and what not and it works good. Mine has been covered in grease and mud and oil and who knows what kind of gunk at one point or another and as you can see from the picture it cleans right up with some dish soap and scrub pad. I did take my measuring tape to it when I first got it and they matched right up.It is double sided which is fantastic! I have a T square that I use sometimes and it is not double sided and now that I'm used to this one, I dont understand how I got by without a double side!Only possible complaint is that when the light hits it just right you will have a hard time reading it as it's all the same shiny finish, but that goes without saying really.

Great framing square!
I bought one of these years ago and it has served me well. To do less chasing for tools decided to get another one. The graduations are stamped in the square making it easy to read.
