Cheap ink cartridges - ok for the price
Easy compatible with stated models - colour is very close to Epson official inks. Sometimes the printer does not recognise the cartridge ink levels which can make it tricky when coming to the end of a cartridge. In reality you will be able to tell when the ink is starting to run out as the printing quality will be affected, so not the end of the world. Much better value than Epson cartridges, so I would buy again from an economy point of view. If you are looking to achieve high quality photo prints then maybe stick to the more expensive alternatives, but for everyday printing these are fine.

Really surprised by these
Bought my Epson R220 printer over 7 years ago. The only genuine cartridges I have ever used were the original cartridges that came in the box with the printer. Since then I have always used Pro-jet Compatible cartridges. These ran fine but I’ve had trouble trying to find someone who still sells Pro-Jet cartridges.I thought I would try these as they were cheap. Ordered two packs. The cartridges come in packs and not individual cardboard packets like my old pro-jet cartridges. I initially made the mistake of mixing the new cartridges with the old cartridges. This led to really bad print outs. Once I filled the printer only with the new cartridges, print outs were fine and comparable in quality to my pro-jet cartridges. If I had any gripe I would say the colours are darker and less vibrant when compared to the original epson ink, they also tend to fade but at this price its still better value then the epson which cost a lot more.

Excellent ink
I bought these for the price and I am happy with them so far, I do print some photographs and notice no difference between the results of these and the more expensive ones, I use them in my ageing R300 which I have had for some years. Some times it rejects them and says they are not compatible but I just reset the printer or if necessary reset the chip on the cartridges and all works fine, I also find that as soon as one runs out, a short time later the rest do too and therefore I find it best to replace them all at the same time to save ink as the printer needs to charge up the ink each time a new cartridge is fitted, and as they are cheap I don't mind if they are not completely empty.(the printer would probably use at least that amount charging up if I fitted cartridges separately anyway)I would recommend these and will buy them again myself.

Decent quality Epson compatible ink
I bought this to replace the original cartridges. Comes in single cardboard pack with individual plastic wrap. Even though some of the previous cartridges were not fully empty, I replaced all of them. Printed collage of few colour images in a A4 bright white paper. To my surprise, the quality of the images were very good. The ink dried out quickly and did not smudge. For the price, I do not have any regrets. Glad I bought 2 sets. Even the 6 x 4 copies in a photo paper was very good in exact reproduction of colours. Recommended.

Not as pictured
The cartridges appeared on the ad. as indicated on the left of this page - I presumed in a set of 6. However, when I received them they were all put into one envelope - all jumbled up - so that I could not identify any of the colours and no numbers could be identified. It would have been necessary to open all the packages to see what was what. (Being a 75 year old with not l00% vision,I could not identify them). A bit disappointing as it would be nice if they were as appearing above, easily identifiable. Thanks anyway, good delivery, prompt service, but unfortunately to complicated for me.

Cheap Ink
They're obviously better than paying the full price of original cartridges but like some of the other reviewers I was a cartridge short too. I was printing photos when my previous cartridges ran out and I didn't think they were of such good quality as my last, for instance the black & white photos looked more sepia. I will be sticking to Hornsea in future for their compatible.
