I have just discovered Macross . I have been a builder for 56 years and am fed up of "rivet counting" and exact colours , I like the fantasy aspect that enables you to finish these kits as you want to . I don't pretend to understand the transformers ethos , but the aircraft mode builds into a super kit of a "future fighter" and this appeals to me . Hasegawa have a quality product ,(£21 inc post .) great design , engraved panel lines , excellent box , individual packing , beautifull decals so what's not to like . Packaged in 2 layers of bubble wrap -so carefully you can't see the joins - in a dark plastic bag , estimated delivery 21 Dec but recieved today 30 Nov . excellent service Mai Haraguchi .

Cool design
This is a super little kit. Came out a little smaller than I was expecting but it's a great design and extremely well detailed. Goes together well with very clear instructions, highly recommend!
