Predator: 3-Movie Collection [4K UHD]

THE COPY OF THESE MOVIS ARE PERFECT, AND MAN AM I GLAD I BOUGHT THESE FROM THE UK. THESE COPIES HAVE A MUCH BETTER PICTURE & SOUND, THAN THO COPIES FROM USA. I'VE NOTICED WHEN I BUY DVDS FROM UK AREA, THEY HAVE A MUCH BETTER SOUND & PICTURE. IF YOU HAVE A FEW BUCKS, I THINK YOU SHOULD BUY THIS SET. THE ONE THING THE STUDIO DID WRONG WAS CUT THE MOVIE LITTLE SHORT ON THE 3RD DVD PREDATORS. THEY NEED TO STOP THIS AND GIVE THE CUSTOMERS THE WHOLE MOVIE. BUY THIS COLLECTIONMY FRIENDS, YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

I bought this set mainly because i had just purchased the Alien Anthology(import). I had seen Alien Vs Predator also but still did not see the first 2 Predator films. I stumbled across this trilogy and it had a beautiful price so i decided to pick it up. The first movie Predator staring Arnold Schwartzenegger was a pretty fun movie. Arnold leads his team of elite soldiers into a jungle for a rescue mission. needless to say it does not go as planned. The second Film was not nearly as fun in my opinion. Don't get me wrong though there is plenty of shooting and lots of awesome predator kills. however it turns out all the action in this movie didn't make it as desirable as the previous film. The third film is the second best watch although to some it may be the best one. full of great actors. but the story has something to be desired. If you read other reviews you may see that people are having problems with the Digital copies of these movies. This particular feature does not really do anything for me since i never watch movies in my laptop because its a piece of junk, if you are somebody who uses digital copies often when they are provided then you may want to skip this set. If you are someone like me and only watches their movies on a TV then i would highly suggest getting this. Overall the movies score a 4/5 the cover art is very cool and the digital copies don't really carry any weight to make me drop my overall score.

Since Amazon is mixing review for different formats here I want to point out this is for the "Predator Trilogy [Blu-ray]". This version comes in a nice box with individual cases for the movies. It has 3 Blu-Ray discs with no digital copies. This is a good set for any fan of the Predator Trilogy that doesn't need digital copies.

LOVE these movies….but the Predator 2 DVD didn't work!!! Predator worked & so did Predators, but how is the 2nd DVD just a black screen that won't go on?! Really?! Terrible. Very disappointed.

An absolute classic, a bizarre sequel, and a fun (if flawed) reboot. PREDATOR: This should be required viewing for anyone with ANY interest in cinema. It’s the perfect action movie: tense, quick, and intriguing. Every single minute of this movie is purposeful, the casting is superb, and the script is tight, while also being filled with beautiful macho nonsense. PREDATOR 2: A strange sequel that abandons the vibe and atmosphere of the original for a gritty, city-based thriller. It’s still entertaining, but a far cry from the original, and it’s nowhere near as memorable. PREDATORS: It’s best going into this movie completely blind—don’t watch the trailers or read about it. If you can avoid spoiling things, it’s a fantastic watch with some unexpected moments. It doesn’t stray far from the series’ formula, but it’s absolutely worthwhile. I don’t have any major concerns about the technical aspects of this 3-pack. It’s nothing incredible, but it’s perfectly okay as far as DVDs go. With that said, the Blu-Ray sets are certainly better, and streaming options will probably be higher quality. There’s nothing about the packaging that stands out, so I don’t think it’s really necessary to get this specific version. BUT! If you’re looking for a way to get all three of these movies in one place, this is a totally fine option.

Predator was on cable every night the summer my family moved into their newest house, and we watched it pretty much every time it was on. I know every line, basically. Predator 2 - my family and I saw in the theatre when it came out. That movie was a part of my childhood too. I drew the new predator mask while out to dinner with my family afterward. The only question I had going in was how good is the 2010 movie. I bought the blu-ray collection blind, and we watched it the other day. I have to say, I really LOVE the newest film. That's all I'll say. This collection to me is essential.

Really nice box collection set. It's hard to find anywhere else; our local Best Buy didn't have it not did any of the other big box stores. The Predator series remains a classic even after all these years. I still sit on the edge of my seat every single time I watch them!

We have always had excellent service from Amazon and this is the first occasion upon which we have had a problem with the service you have provided to us. We see that the package was as pictured, but we did find it where the driver placed it on Sunday at 1:30 PM. In our long history of ordering from Amazon a package has not gone missing. It was found and I do not request a replacement. Sorry about the confusion. Thanks Dave

Superbe, Blu-ray, Collector

Ich habe mir diesen Klassiker als gebraucht/Zustand gut gekauft. Der Artikel entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Die DVDs sind makellos, die Hülle etwas abgegriffen. Dies stört mich nicht. Ich liebe diese alten Action/Horror Streifen. Besonders der erste Teil mit Arnold Schwarzenegger ist super! Alles bestens!

OK, the predator trilogy on blu ray. I'm not going to go into the films as you probably have a good idea, this review is about the product itself. The box is just as shows, it's not the sturdiest box ever made but I've seen worse. It's a six disc edition, (the 3 films on blu ray and then the digital copies), Each case is a typical blu ray case with two discs inside, one disc on the left, the other on the right (they dont have that extra disc holder in the middle that flaps about all the time). Now the films. The first film (predator) is the best one of the set, the transfer is perfect! You see all the jungle scenes as if you were there, the mist, smoke and night scenes are all really well done. The sound is amazing, the dialogue crisp and the background noise clear. For a film made in 1987, I couldn't be happier. AUDIO; 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio PICTURE; Full 1080p (1.85:1 Aspect Ratio) EXTRAS: There are loads of extras but the most interesting are: Predator (evolution of a species) documentary, the making of, inside the predator documentary and a great camouflage test insight. The second film (predator 2) OK, the film isn't that good (the worst of the 3) but just like Predator the transfer is great and the sound perfect. AUDIO: 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio PICTURE: Full 1080p (1.85:1 Aspect Ratio) EXTRAS: There are less than for Predator 1 but still some interesting options, The hunters and the hunted documentary and various segments like six weapons of choice and 3 evolutions segments. The third films (Predators) Really enjoyed this film, a lot better than Predator 2 and a new original storyline without losing the true predator theory. Obviously this film is recent, so it's no surprise that the picture is perfect and the audio too, great film experience. AUDIO: 5.1 NF DTS HD Master Audio PICTURE: Full 1080p (2.35:1 Aspect Ratio) EXTRAS: A great Evolution of the species documentary, a nice Fox Movie Channel - Making a scene and other extras. So, a great set of films, great transfers and a great price, you can't go wrong. 5 STARS And if you're thinking about upgrading from VHS or DVD, think no more, I have the DVD of predator and in blu ray it looks like a different film. An extra note, thank you very much to Amazon UK who changed the whole boxset for me after having problems with the third film (Predators) without charging me for the change, great service.
