First of all I have to say this looks really nice. I like the box and packaging and looks like a lot of care has been taken to make a good product. The design of it is pretty nice. I would prefer a more modern look but I can appreciate others would really like this retro vibe and design. It's well built and easy to use.For me the fact you need a power cable is a deal breaker. I want this on my table or my desk or even camping or in a park or just anywhere. I don't want to be tethered to a cable because it's inconvenient and if you are clumsy like me the chance of tripping over it and spilling a hot drink is high. If this was lithiam ion I would love it but it isn't. This gets really super hot as well and I actually think too hot even on the lowest setting but this just might be me.For my own personal rating I would give this 3 stars because of the above reason but I understand those might not be deal breakers for others and based on the quality, look and design I am giving this 3 stars.

The mini hotplate for mugs is works well, and finally I can finish a hot drink right down to the bottom and it is still hot.Being essentially a small a hotplate, it heats from the bottom, and so the bottom part of my drink stays hotter.The controls are easy to use. There is a power button, that when tapped cycles though the different temperature setting, which are displayed on the small screen. There is an light strip what goes around the base that changes colour to highlight what temperature it is set at. There is also a timer function.The only downside to this is the power lead isn't very long. That means you have to use it at a table right next to a plug socket

I've only been using this mug warmer for a day, and I love it. Its earned a permanent place on my desk.I drank 3 coffees this morning, each taking over an hour to drink, and each was almost as hot at the end as it was when I started drinking.The mug warmer has a good weight and rubber feet, so it doesn't slip around easily. Its function is simple, with an on/off button that also doubles to set the temperature between 45c, 55c and 75c. The warmer features a wrap around light that displays a colour associated with the heat setting for that extra reminder you have it on. Finally, there is a timer button - I haven't used it yet, but I did accidently click it. Repeatedly pressing increments a timer function to turn off the heater in increments of 1 hour, between 1 and 12 hours.

This really is a hotplate for your desk, gets exceedingly hot, at the highest setting of 75c the plate gets to 200c, and at 45C setting it reaches a temp of 175C. So caution not to touch the hotplate is required - there really should be a warning sign somewhere!Ideally you need a flat based mug to ensure maximum heat is conducted from the plate to your drink - and then your drink will better be maintained at temperature you want for far longer.The touch controls work very well, you can set the timer to switch off after 1 to 12 hours. The unit has a correctly fused 3A plug, and a 1.3m cable. Seems to be well made and does the required job.Would have preferred a longer lead and also a warning sign on the hot plate.

One thing I appreciate is that it works well with both ceramic and glass mugs. However, you need to use flat-bottomed mugs for the best results, as those with grooves or ridges may not distribute heat evenly. The touch controls are intuitive, and the compact size makes it easy to move around. It’s also easy to clean—just wipe it down with a damp cloth. Highly recommended for desk or home office use!

I am always making coffee and then getting distracted, never drinking it. The sink probably drinks more coffee than I do. This cup warmer is very useful as it keeps coffee warm to a temperature you like until you are ready to drink it.

This coffee warmer works reasonable well as long as you are using a flat bottomed cup. I really like the led lighting around the middle of the unit which alerts you to the 3 temperature setting which you can cycle through using the small button located on the front of the device. There is also a small LCD screen which tells you the set temperature of the warmer - max 75C. I did find it tends to keep the bottom 1/2 of your coffee more warmer than the top half. A quirky product that works well if you ponder over your morning brew!
