Warioware Gold (Nintendo 3DS)

I love this game. It is a fantastic entry into the WarioWare series with hours of content - quite frankly rather impressive considering most microgames included average at around five seconds. So many games, so many unlockables, so much to do! I am still trying to clear all the missions and play the unlockable card game every day. Challenging but fulfilling to the max! Wah!

Arrived perfectly and the game is fun!

Warioware gold is a pretty fun game. Its like a compilation of the handheld games in the series but with enough new micro games and even twists on the familiar ones that can catch out veterans.The premise here is wario is hosting a game tournament in a bid to get rich quick. You the player are to play micro game after micro game to win his 10 million prize. The focus is more on each of the side characters and their individual stories which do accumulate in the finale. Each has a charm and are funny little diversions though presentation is hit and miss. Some characters look smooth and clear while others have a bad case of the jaggies. Its distracting for sure.This version like I say has its roots in the previous handheld games and each league is separated to accommodate the different control methods. Keeping it fast and frantic while sticking with one control scheme. Be it buttons, twisting the console, using the touch screen, or even the microphone.All work really well though I do feel some of the motion games can be inaccurate. Also some of the original microgames seem to have a longer timer. Making them vastly easier. I still had fun blasting my way through mini game after mini game, getting faster and faster till its over. Its a real thrill. Boss fights are really fun here and some are a challenge to be sure (kat&Anna is a challenge for sure)Their are many modes that will unlock once you beat the main game. Each offering a new challenge while some offering a new twist on how you play.Also the two player mode has to be unlocked in this way which,while a bit restrictive to those just wanting to jump into multiplayer, is understandable to be sure both payers have the basics of the game down.As you play you earn coins as you play and they are used to unlock many of the games unlockables. From mini games based on the micro games to even original game and watch games.Alarm clocks,records, cards theirs a hell of alot and most are worth your time to mess around with and just have fun.If this is your first warioware game I highly recommend it. Theirs alot here and so much variety it will keep you busy for hours.For veterans I feel theirs enough new here to justify a purchase. The older microgames have visual updates and like said at the beginning theirs some twists and curveballs to them to keep you on your toes.

The biggest and wildest WarioWare yet, mixing in games from almost every game in the series so far, and plenty of fun extras too. Don't miss out!

Great fun game. Fairly easy to complete after half a day or so but it is always fun to go back and beat old scores.

The usual WarioWare microgame madness in abundance. Proof that there's at least a little bit of life in the old 3DS yet!

Was sold a Spanish boxart edition - completely misrepresented.The 'playable in English' sticker was a nice touch, too.Returned.
