This frame is designed for use with a 36" tall by 24" wide panel.

Q: Is there a plastic covering to protect the printed sign from rain?

No, I pay $20 per sign and they are laminated & printed by office depot

Q: When the board is fully extended, what is the inside width between the 2 sides? We may use one to put over a trailer hitch for safety.

30.5 inches wide at the ground cleareance inside the board. 15" wide at 21" up from the ground. It is very sturdy and heavy.
