Asrocking out
I intend to add to this review once my Ryzen 3700x is here and everything is set up - however, I must first point out some things. (I'm upgrading from a previous Asrock Z75 Pro 3 from the Ivybridge days)If you're getting a ryzen 3000 onwards...This board arrived with BIOS version P1.50. This means it will support 2nd and 1st gen ryzen out of the box, but if your cpu is any more recent than that, you're going to have to get your hands on (or get someone else who has) one of these older cpus in order to fit it in and update the BIOS for you. You'll need a FAT32 USB flash drive, and you can get the BIOS off Asrock's website. Make sure to update to version 2.00 first, then the most recent one.AMD will loan you an Athlon 200GE if you request one from their site, however you could buy one or similar yourself here on amazon uk. I got the Athlon 200GE and can confirm it worked out of the box.https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07HJWVJDNVisually, it's a stunning board and of the X470 lineup, a class act. The taichi ultimate adds 10Gigabit wired LAN connection. One plus I'll mention now before updating later: The abundance of MODERN USB ports. You won't find USB 2.0 ports on the back, at a minimum they are USB 3.1 Gen 1/3.2 gen 1 (we used to know them simply as "USB 3.0"), which is refreshing, and of course backwards compatible with any USB 2.0/1.1/1.0 devices.

Great motherboard
After a lot of research online, I figured this was the ideal motherboard for my build with Ryzen 2700x in the price class I wanted. The setup for the build was relatively easy as the plugs on the board were clearly marked and there was enough room between the different hardware slots. One of the main reasons I chose this motherboard was the AMD bios feature, to make overclocking easy. This was especially important to make the 3200Mhz ram work well. The only concern I have had is the placement of the M.2, right below the GPU. My hard drive was getting warm fast, until I installed an additional fan for better airflow in that region.

Only 2 case fan ports
Just 2 ports for case fans was a little disappointing as where I live ambient temperatures go up to 45C but with a bunch of splitters I solved the problem.Otherwise a good motherboard and a great overclocker. 3000Mhz on ram (dual rank and dual channel samsung die) and 3.9Ghz (stock cooler) on 2700(non X).

Very nice mother board.
I am pleased with this motherboard's functionality and bios design. It is easy to use and looks high end.The upgrade path and value for money with these AM4 boards is what attracted me to it, and that is why I chose AMD this time round. Also I have had enough of Intel and their over milking it and charge ridiculous prices shenanigans!

Brilliant product
All good, no problems, bought with good ram and ryzen 7 processor and works 100% highly recommend, fast reliable and quiet (obviously it depends on your PS and CPU) I used 650watt EVGA modular PS

audio buzz/interference
Very disappointed with Asrock x470 taichi thought I'd try them again after having a bad experience with a Asrock board before but it had buzz/interference from the rear audio jack I know it's not my speakers been using them on my last 3 builds all Asus for close to 10 years I would advise going with the crosshair vii hero I will when I get my refund that I've been waiting for since the 15th july
