New - Palo Alto PAN-PA-220 PA-220 8-Port Next Generation Firewall Security Appliance

Received firewall, but not able to find a way to register the product, waiting on seller to transfer it on my company name

This is probably a good product. We got it to replace an old and slow Netgear FVS318 Firewall and switch that we were using as a router. Our problem was that you almost have to be an IT specialist to install this item. The instructions, which were difficult to locate, were obviously written by an IT person for an IT person. While I consider myself technically oriented in may things, IT is not one. After 90 minutes of internet searching for installation assistance, I raised the white flag and admitted defeat.I'll point out that we are a small family based business and don't need a lot of the options available with this product. After working with it, I realized it was overkill for our application. I went instead with a highly rated wireless router with 8 lan ports and a firewall feature, and was up and running in about 15 minutes with no stress.Once again I'll say that the product is probably wonderful, but it seemed to be overkill for our application. The rating dings I gave it were for what I would consider to be documentation that was not only hard to locate, but obtuse for a person not steeped in IT..
