High quality and good value
I was looking at Dyson purifiers but they are so expensive! This LG actually has as good or better stats than the Dyson for a lot less.Does a great job in my home. It sits between my living room and kitchen and easily handles the two large rooms. Replacement filters are a little pricey, but the Dysons are probably even more.Oh yeah, it looks really cool and is built like a tank.

Simply Amazing
I'm impressed. I've tried a few different fan/air purifier brands and models over the years, and all of them either burn out or make annoying noise when oscillating in less than a year (I'm looking at you, Dyson). This fan, however, has been going strong for almost two years of constant use. No bad noises or weakening motors, and it filters the air quite well, in my opinion! Granted, it doesn't have insanely powerful airflow like some other fans I have tried before, but if you want powerful airflow, don't get a fan with a HEPA filter. Sacrificing a little airflow for excellent filtration makes sense to me, and the Aerotower is plenty strong.I only have one complaint. The "diffuse" function feels a tad weak, but turning up the fan speed helps alleviate that problem somewhat. All in all, I love this thing. I plan on keeping it for many more years, not to mention breathing easier for many years to come.

Excellent, stylish product
We bought this air purifier primarily because of its looks. We have a large room to purify and this was the only reasonably priced option we could find that was unobtrusive. We have been very happy with the appearance and performance of the purifier. Very quiet. Highly recommend at this price point.

Works Great & Looks Great!
I was looking for made in USA or Korea, to avoid purchasing made in China. Since LG has been manufacturing many big & small home appliances for decades, and offering 10 year motor warranty for this purifier, I purchased it.Just like pictures and descriptions, it’s quite tall and heavy. But the design is so flawless, it almost looks like a modern home decoration.I have one big dog and two cats, so if I don’t run the purifier, air quality goes down really fast. I run it on “auto” mode all day. It’s not loud unless it’s blasting higher setting above 6-7 or turbo, for any sudden air quality drops.(Air quality seems to drop during cooking, candle lighting, or if my animals are running around.)Most of the time, it stays very quiet and minimal, but still maintains the good air quality. However I noticed the back side cover of the bottom (where the filter & motor is) is not tightly closing as it supposed to.I’m not sure if it effects the product’s air purifying quality, but I’d still want the cover to close all the way like how it’s supposed to.I contacted the LG customer service directly and the representative was very kind & professional. (Another reason why I want to avoid Chinese brand..) they actually sent me a new back cover just so I can try it with the new one to see if it’s the flaws of the cover only. I received the new cover and it’s still not closing it all the way, so I’m going to reach out to them again to receive a whole new product to see if that one still has the same issues or not. That’s the only issue I came across so far, and it’s going ok, so I’m giving them 4 stars for now, but will see if it can be changed to 5 stars once I fix this issue with them :)But really, it’s a 5 stars for me except for the cover issue.

10 year warranty sold me
First, let’s acknowledge the steep price of the unit and the filters. The cost of the unit is high, but the cost of the filters is absurd. What pushed me toward this unit is the warranty. I bought 12 Winix machines and 3 of them only lasted about 2.5 years - just past the warranty. I hate buying disposable products that wind up in a landfill. So I was looking for air purifiers that are built to last. With a 10 year warranty, at least LG has a high opinion of their design quality. The app pairing cost me some gray hairs - and I would rate myself at a 10 out of 10 for working with technology. But the filter was easy to install and the unit looks nice - albeit large. The 800+ square foot coverage is nearly twice the Winix. I also liked the LED UV light - that should be a no brainer since COVID for every air purifier. The detailed information regarding particulate matter in the air is impressive. The ability to turn off the lights is critical for use in a bedroom as is the nearly silent operation. The air diffuser is nice for the winter. The oscillating feature is nice for the Summer. The magnetic remote storage indicates design innovation to me. It’s missing a heating function to compete with Dyson. Time will tell, but first impression gives it 👍 - I will probably be gradually replacing my Winix with LG.

This fan blows (because it doesn't)
Pros- nice aesthetic- easy to set up- magnet remote is nice touch- 2-in-1 fan/purifier saves spaceCons- fan is either too weak or very loud- screen is hard to see when using built in fan controls- for the price there are much better standalone fans and purifiers- could not connect with AlexaI mainly bought this fan to replace an old Lasko fan that stopped oscillating. My room is small and gets hot easily so I wanted to buy a new fan ASAP. This fan was on sale for $300 at the time and I thought the 2-in-1 fan purifier combo was great. Plus it looked really nice.Problem is that as a fan, it's terrible. I had it about 5 feet from my bed but could barely feel the air at 8/10 power level. Any higher and it was insanely loud, like a vacuum. The main purpose for buying the fan and it couldn't do it.And while the design is aesthetically pleasing, there are some major problems. The vents where the air comes out is small, which is why it's either too weak or too loud. Also, because of the gap in the fan, the screen needs to be placed towards the bottom. This makes it hard to see the screen when you're using the controls on the top of the fan.Overall, you'd be better off buying a separate fan and purifier if you want both.
