totally functional, accurated enough. I pause everything multiple times a day just to see it ticking. I wish it has better lumens but it is ok for the price.

I have a rather large collection of watches, and I regularly look for new brands to try out. Upon seeing the Timematrix I had to see the watch for myself. Ordering was easy and delivery quick and with zero worries/complaints. My first impressions upon seeing the box it arrived was a bit apprehensive, as it was rather generic and ambiguous as a watch box. But upon opening the box and handling the watch I was quickly pleased. The watch is made of nicely polished stainless steel, and presents very nicely overall. The dial is nicely done with a star pattern made of luminescent paint that glows under UV light. A note on this is, as with most inexpensive watches, the lum is not superluminova and wears off rather quickly. I wouldn't mark this against the watch, as this is a fairly typical thing with watches at this price point. That being said, it is quite striking when charged and glowing brightly. The hands and hour indexes also glow clearly. There is a "small seconds" subdial at the 6 oclock position with an image of the earth (north and south america) background that has a "starfighter" spaceship styled hand permenantly indexed with the main seconds hand. The subdial also has a 60 second index track. At the 12 o'clock position is a 24 hour "day/night" indicator. NOT A MOON PHASE as described in the main description. The art in this dial is nicely printed and easy to read, with a few more luminescent stars in the bottom half of the subdial. At the 9 o'clock position is an exposed escapment showing the balance wheel, pallet fork and other parts. This is a FULLY "skelletonized" feature showing all the way through the display case back. The exposed bridges in this dial are nicely finished with "Geneva stripes" and exposed bering jewels. The dial hour indexes are polished stainless steel inserts with luminescent center sections. "Sword" style hour and minute hands are partially "slelletonized" polished stainless steel from the center to the midpoint, with luminescent ends. The minute hand is "full lenth" and reaches all the way to the hour indexes clearly. The black rehaut is labeled with indexes at 5 minute intervals, with a red stripe from 00-15, and then again from 30-45. The watch comes with a real 7 link bracelet, with "pinned" links (resizing tool also supplied with watch). The bracelt is fixed to the lugs with a springrod and a "dovetail" interlocking joint which is very secure and a nice feature to see! The clasp is a 2 pushbutton "butterfly" clasp and locks and releases nicely. The bracelet edges are a bit sharp, typical of other bracelets at this price point, but overall very nice. The watch has a display case back showing off the movement, which is very nicely finished. The partially "skelletonized" rotor, as well as the gears, bridges and other parts are all nicely polished/finished with stylized patterns. This finish work is of particular note for a watch at this price and is very attractive. Especially the aforementioned "skelletonized" escapement. Overall I am VERY pleased with this watch, and will be ordering an few more from Timematrix. The design of the dial and braclet are unique and visually striking. At this price this watch is hard to beat!

This is a beautiful watch however it does not light up at night. Perhaps there is a setting to do this but cannot find in instructions. It would be perfect if not for this, it actually looks like it should light up so I'm not sure why this model does not. Wish that was more clear. Overall watch looks well made it's super cool and my son loves it!
