Works Great, Blows Ambient(ish) Air, Recommended
This dehumidifier seems to do it's job, and we have used it continuously for about two weeks. We use the dehumidifier in the basement, which is not only moist but also includes the laundry, HVAC, and hot water heater. This dehumidifier is not quite as efficient as our previous Frigidaire (which cost about twice as much and lasted only three years), but it works fine and as expected. It seems to be a good bargain, and the unit is listed as Energy Star Certified on the Energy Star website (although Nothing with the packaging or included materials confirms it is an Energy Star unit). Positively, the air expelled by this dehumidifier is not as warm as the Frigidaire, which is a real plus in the summer, when the dehumidifier is really needed. We have used the dehumidifier both with the internal bucket and as a continuous drain, and it has worked fine. I am not sure why all dehumidifiers are made with an internal bucket that is hard to empty without some splashing and spilling. But this seems to be the industry standard in bucket design. As a continous draining system, there have been no problems. We recommend this unit, and the price makes it a good deal ias long as it continues to run without problems.

Works as it should. Dependable so far.
Initially I was going to send this thing back. But I spent some time watching it run and realized it wasn't defective.I do not like how much movement in humidity is required to turn back on from setpoint, but it works well. Especially in continuous mode. However, continuous mode is a bad choice IMO. The lower the humidity gets, the less humidity is can pull from the air in a given period. The unit uses 500watts, that doesn't change unless the unit goes into blower only mode before it shuts off at setpoint. With that, the lower the humidity, the less efficient the unit will be. This isn't the fault of the unit, it's the nature how these works vs the humidity in the air. It's only going to move so much air in a given period. All this said, this dehumidifier has been running continuously (kicks on and off vs setpoint) for several months.I will update this review as needed.

Order a long drain hose.
Great unit, used in the daylight basement. The humidity was so high that the carpet was wet. This unit dried the carpet out in 2 days and we have been emptying it every 2-3 hours. I just ordered the drain hose, I hope this function works out well so it can stay working when we are at work.

Highly recommended
Wow, what a powerful little unit! Somewhat smaller and lighter (33 lbs) than normal sized dehumidifiers so was a bit skeptical if it would be able to handle the 77% humidity in our 1000 sq. ft. basement. Set it up in the evening and by next morning the basement was already at 55% r.h. and it was pouring out water into the drain. Excellent packing and instructions - also appears to be well built. Very happy when things do what they're supposed to do :)

Overall an OK dehumidifier but both my units keep freezing up. 1st returned 2nd I am not stuck
My 10 year old Frigidaire dehumidifier has no problems and never had issues with the coils freezing up.I purchased two of these units for my basement.. Overall not very happy. Overall an OK dehumidifier but both my units keep freezing up. I returned one while still in the return period.. As of 3/14/2025 the second unit started to freeze up. Yes this unit like the other has clean filters and no sign of dust in the coils. I returned the first unit as-soon-as received. I am stuck with this other one.The other problem is the horribly kinked low quality hoses for both units and you MUST buy a drain hose to screw onto the fitting for continuous draining.1) The drain hose that is supplied is folded and useless unless you supply heat and work with it to unfold, the kinks WILL NOT come out unless you do this.2) One unit, I attached a hose for drainage and it has been working perfectly.3) The 2nd unit, for some reason the coils keep freezing up. My basement is warm, and the dehumidifiers both have over 2 feet clearance on all sides and the filter screens are clear. I referred to my thoughts above.

Add a constant fan mode please!
By far the best dehumidifier I’ve tried! This is my 4th one now. I live in a humid area and need to dehumidify to sleep at night. This thing is powerful. I can dehumidify before I go to bed and turn it off before sleeping. The design is compact and rolls around perfectly. The only thing I wish it had was a constant fan mode. NOT a constant dehumidify mode. Since I use it in my room, it’s very disruptive when is kicks on and abruptly powers off. Wakes me up every time. If they could just add that feature, it would be perfect.
