Great flea medication!!
This was the first time I had ever used the product and I was very pleased with it. I had used another flea product for years and for some reason it just stopped working. I have two dogs that are indoor dogs but I take them outside to use the bathroom and let them walk around in the backyard, so they aren't outside very long but I do keep flea medication on them. I also have two indoor cats that I also keep flea medication on just in case the dogs should carry a flea inside. When my old flea medication quit working I found that my all four of my animals became infested with fleas, including my home. I was absolutely devastated. My basement even became infested and they don't even go downstairs. I had bites all over my ankles and the bottoms of my legs and I thought I would go crazy from the itching. I finally got online and after reading all reviews on different flea medications chose this for my dogs and the Bayer Advantage II Purple for my cats. I vacuumed like crazy constantly and bought the Raid spray in the purple can and sprayed everywhere, which will not hurt your pets and finally got rid of the fleas within a little over a month. I did find a few fleas on my dogs after about three weeks, although they were barely moving, but I believe they were jumping off the cats because my dogs have very short hair and you can see their skin, so I went ahead and applied the medication one week early on all my pets and haven't seen a flea since. I also believe that because my pets and home were so infested that it took a little bit longer to get rid of the fleas than it would have if they had been being treated all along with the medication. I'm still not clear as to why my other flea medication quit working. Maybe my pets had just become immune to it. I highly recommend this flea medication to anyone looking for a flea killer and it also did not leave my pets' fur greasy like my other medication did. I plan on continued use as long as it doesn't stop working.

Why it can't be shipped to Los Angeles?
it is a good product, but now for some reason I can't no longer order it to have it ship to Los Angeles. I don't understand why?

Works well recommend
We use this every other month to keep the fleas off. It works fast. My dog shows no sign of distress, discomfort or side effects. Easy to apply and no smell. He is a small maltipoo about 10 pounds. We have ordered this several times with no issues. Good price.

Fleas and scratching are no more
Gets rid of the fleas as advertised. My dog is an 8 lb, short haired, chihuahua mix. One negative; however, the little pin in the cap that's used to pierce the tube is a bit too big and the medicine is not gelatinous so the tube drained too quickly and emptied as soon as I tipped it and started running from neck to tail down the back. Was empty before I got maybe half way, in spite of trying to be careful. Needs better application method or a more viscous fluid.

Doesn't seem to be working
Not sure that this product is working on my dog. While I haven't seen any fleas since applying (saw one flea before she got groomed), my dog scratches and nips at herself more than ever. I've heard that flea products stop working sometimes, so this may be the case. Not sure if I can try another flea product so soon after applying this one. Not to mention, I still have 3 left of this brand.

Happy Dogs, Dead Fleas and a Dirty Bed.
I have three small dogs ranging in size from 5lb to 11lb. Two have short hair and one long hair. One of the smaller dogs has a pretty severe allergy to fleas and has chewed the hair off his back in a couple of spots from this alergy. But, I've taken a while to order anything because I once had a dog become very ill from using a flea medicien.I bit the bullet and ordered this based on the amoung of good reviews, but we also did some prep work before using the advantage II for small dogs.We filled up my large bathtub with luke warm water and let the dogs soak up to their bellies - though the smallest dog is a couple inches shorter than the tallest dog - so he was swimming in all honesty. We poured water over the backs until they were thoroughly soaked. Then, we rubbed them down with dawn dishwashing liquid - the original formula without added scents. We left them sudsed up for at least 5 minutes. The fleas were already starting to drown and drop off. We then rinsed them and rained the tub. After filling the tub again, to rinse off and drown any straggler fleas, we towled off the dogs and then applied the flea med. to them as recommended on the packaging. The next morning, my bed was littered with dead fleas. The dogs sleep with me and my sheet was a solid light color, so I could see them pretty clearly.I would have to say this product works! Does it work as well if you don't pre-wash the dogs? I don't know, but I think we'll keep doing it this way from now on.
