The main reason I purchased this particular thermos was because it said “dishwasher safe”. When it arrived the box only said “handwash”. Used for hiking in 60° weather. Water stayed cool but definitely not cold. When we got home I risked it and put in dishwasher-turned out fine.

Works great keep ice over night

The bottle itself is not comfortable to hold - too slippery and heavy. You have to wash all parts by hand. While two of the lids do not leak, the one for hot drinks does. If you put hot coffee in it, close the lid, and turn it upside, it's fine. However, if you actually drink from it, coffee will leak out from the back when you close the lid.

It’s a great bottle and keeps everything hot and/or cold. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the straw. After using it about 6-8 times, the straw has already broke in both bottles. Both bottles have only been washed by hand, as we didn’t want to take a chance in the dish washer. I would be happy to buy some extra straws but I don’t know where to get them.

The water bottle is awesome; tight caps — a bonus to have 3 included to choose from; arrived quickly; fair price point; 4 stars for cleaning only because water bottle straws are all a pain in the neck to clean; and 4 stars overall as this item arrived in packaging that was all beat up inside and out…the boxes were partially open, bent and falling apart. Granted this may have be caused by delivery company however it is the responsibility of the supplier to oversee all aspects of purchase process. The bottle itself, again, does not show signs of leaking and will have to determine its ability to retain ice when it gets warmer in the NE
