Solid construction, does the job perfectly.

Having attempted many times with making markings myself I've given in to defeat. I need something that's going to ensure the rule measure twice cut once really will give me the precision I need.

The item was incomplete, missing the drill bits,really stressed situation I am now ,I can't complete my tasks

The kit come with no instructions, so you have to figure out how to use it alone. Firstly, and most obviously, it is NOT self centering. You have to set the thickness of the board manually before you clamp it down. You also have to measure the board, then halve it to set it correctly. Why not just show the board thickness rather than half the board thickness?The drill guides are not accurately sized, so the drills wobble around meaning it's very easy to drill a hole off-square.There is a built in gauge to set the depth stops to the right position, but OMG is it fiddly to use as you have to hold the device, the drill bit, and tighten the grub screw all at the same time.I cannot recommend this tool.

This is an incredibly well machine kit with high tolerances on every component. There are a variety of drill guides and it even comes with some high quality drills with adjustable stops, along with mortice bits.Once the holes have been drilled on the first work piece it is very easy, accurate and repeatable to invert the unit and drill the mating holes in the second piece.

Solid and stable. Very accurate. Everything as described. Good value for money.
