Excellent bit of kit. Works well over distance because it doesn’t use Bluetooth like many others. I can keep the base unit inside and keep an eye on temps in the BBQ outside. No fancy gimmicks, doesn’t connect to smartphone app, just straight forward temp monitoring. Would recommend.

I do a lot of low and slow smoking in my offset. I've tried lots of different thermometer solutions and never was 100% happy until I bought these. Absolutely perfect for me. I don't want it to connect to my phone and I don't need fancy plots over time. I just want a solid connection, good range, upper and lower temp alarms and an all day battery life. This ticks all those boxes. It is nice and robust too so I don't worry I'm going to break it. Each thermometer has both a meat and ambient temp and I find both to be accurate. Zero complaints. Thoroughly recommended.

I cannot give an accurate review as I have only used the product once for its intended purpose. My initial reaction? Well, based on experience, if the product looks well made and the box in which it came is good quality, then usually so too is the product. My second reaction? The instructions are terrible.

I have owned other probes from Thermopro and I also own a MEATER Pro XL set. For a simple, intuitive wireless temperate probe, this is simply market leading. The range is unbeatable, absolutely destroys the MEATER systems since they use Bluetooth from probe to base. A range booster is available if you like to sit 100’s of feet away from where you’re cooking but I haven't had to use it yet despite having the probes in a BBQ outside, and me being 3 walls away the other side of the house with the base unit. The best feature for me is how all the functionality it completely built into this unit. You don’t need supporting apps or connections to phones. Cooking profiles according to USDA specs are available for all common meats and cuts. Custom profiles may be set up as well as both internal and ambient temp alarms. Buy this, you won’t be disappointed.

Tried to use this twice over Christmas, worked OK to begin with. After 20 minutes both times the connection was lost. No idea why, pretty terrible product. Returned for a refund

Smart idea. The probe goes I the joint. Wireless signal gives the temperature. No taking joint out etc to vhrvk so meat remains at a constant temperature.

This is a convenient tool for home cooks who like to roast meats. It's nice having two different colors to make it easy to know which meter you're watching. The built in screen also saves you the hassle of dealing with phone apps and can allow you to delegate monitoring the cook to guests. The only missing feature is wifi so you need to keep the base reasonably close to the probes. In my usage the temperatures seems to be accurate.

Have used the Tempspike on several cooks now on a charcoal kettle and pellet grill using both high heat and low and slow. Both sensors seem to give accurate readings based on a portable thermopen to check readings. I like the RF technology as it gives a reliable long range reading as my living room is around 60 feet from my Barbecue area and have not had any drop-outs yet. I did notice its best to turn on at barbecue (Base and probes in close proximity)for the probes to connect to the base, which can then be moved as far away as needed. The build quality is superb the lighting adequate and it is very easy to program and use with many presets and even has a rare-medium-well done setting that's easily set. The best part and the reason I bought this is because it is wireless and does not require a cellphone which makes it self contained. This has replaced 2 other wired temp-probe sets and I highly recommend this dual probe Tempsike system. If anything pops up over the next year I will update.
