Yes, it does have plastic inside the cap to avoid damage to the threads, but I found this irrelevant to my concerns with drinking the water. As long as the bottle is kept vertical, there is no direct contact with the plastic once the cap is removed for pouring. Like any bottle kept upright, this one does not leak with the lid screwed on with the gasket in contact with the lip of the bottle. The quality of this product is far better than other units that I bought. Also, I have bought other bottles without any plastic, but the threads were copper on copper, which will eventually causes issues because they are poorly made. This bottle was also properly packaged; the others were damaged in transit because they did not have a paper tube to keep Amazon delivery services from denting and destroying them.

Beautiful outside finish with uncoated inside and bottom. True copper, and I was really worried about it being coated but it's already showing the beautiful tarnishing in spots. I love that they are antimicrobial for my 6 children. We got 8 for a heavy metal and parasite cleanse and we are drinking hearty amounts of water. For the moment, these are our only copper containers, so we only have 1 liter for each person a day. These sit on my dresser and I transfer the water into Mason jars to drink out of after 24 hours. Then refill the copper vessel so it can sit enough time for the next day. Eventually, I would like to buy a 5 gallon copper dispenser with a filter and simply refill the copper bottles with that. That is the goal.

Absolutely horrible. It had markings on the inside of it when I purchased it cleaned it the way it said to clean it and it turned my bottle brush black could not get my brush clean after using it so I had to throw it away. Could not get the bottle clean so needless to say I sent it back.

I have not used it yet, so I cannot speak to the taste of the water out of the bottle. The packaging was great. It came in a cardboard tube and the bottle was wrapped. It came with instructions on how to clean, which is greatly appreciated. Upon opening the bottle there was a silica packet and an extra seal. There is already tarnish or what I am assuming is tarnish on the inside of the bottle. I will try to clean it with the care instructions however it’s not gonna be easy to get to. I bought the hammered version.

Doesn’t stay cold very long, cap seal is great but it very difficult to screw it on.

The product came in a very nice canister and the bottle was more than I expected. The bottle was clean, robust & nice with the copper culture logo on the cap. Very happy with this purchase.
