Works Great for a 2011 Malibu
Both fobs and keys programmed correctly and worked great. On a Malibu, you will have to have the fobs programmed. You can find instructions online for programing the keys. The keys took only seconds to program. I had to pay $30.00 per fob to have those programmed. Well worth it. Buying and programming 2 fobs and two keys cost less than half of of the cost of purchasing 1 fob at the Chevy dealership. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Only 1 keyfob would program.
7/8/21 update - replacement order arrived and those couldn't be programmed either initially by locksmith. Locksmith then used his programming tool to erase all active keyfobs associated to the car and the additional keyfobs as well as the original keyfob were all able to be programmed. Changed my overall rating from 4 to 5 stars as nothing was wrong with original keyfob.7/1/21 Original review - I only needed 1 key and keyfob but since these came in a set of 2 each for similar cost I bought them. Ace hardware cut both keys for 1 dollar each and programmed easy by myself. I had to go to Batteries Plus to get kebfob programmed. One programmed with no problem for $40 but the second one couldn't be programmed. Person tried 2 different programming machines and verified battery was good. Keeping the bad new one for spare parts incase I ever need to replace battery or outer shell.

Used on a 2007 Chevy Malibu
The keys and fobs seem well constructed and OEM quality. Actually, the fobs "feel" better constructed than the OEM fob I got with the car and am replacing because it no longer works. My step-son is a mechanic and has a "Bi-Directional" diagnostic computer from Snap-On. We used this to program the fobs as shown in several YouTube videos and it worked easily. So, if you have or know someone who has this type of equipment, you can program the fobs yourself without going to the dealer or a locksmith. Just search YouTube for the videos. Both fobs accepted programming after several attempts (this could have been an issue with the locking mechanism module on my vehicle side and not a fob issue because he had to manually delete the previous fobs it had stored before it would take these new ones). After programming, one fob seems to work perfectly and has good range. I am able to lock and unlock the vehicle from inside my house. Unfortunately, the 2nd fob seems to only work when it wants to. It takes multiple button presses to finally lock or unlock. I have looked at the inside board and buttons and do not see any visible issues. So, I am unsure why this is happening. But, it DOES work if I try repeatedly. I'll just put this fob away as an emergency backup.I have only had one key cut so far. The store that cut it had an issue getting it right but that was because their cutter wasn't properly set up for this type of key. After several adjustments and running the key through 5 times to make the cuts "deep enough", the key works perfectly in both the door and ignition. I will take the 2nd key to a locksmith for cutting to eliminate the issues the first store had.Overall, given the price and understanding these items are "aftermarket", it was an acceptable transaction result. Not perfect but not bad.

Key are less than half the price from dealer
The keys worked as advertised. The only concern was where you have the keys cut.The fobs need to be programmed with a up scale obd 2 scan tool or by an auto lock smith.

Neither remote worked. Didn't even try keys
First I tried to add it as fob three or four. This failed. Then I tried to replace all of them, this also failed. The car beeps and lets you know that it has entered programming mode. The fobs are emitting a 315 frequency but apparently it is onethe vehicle does not understand. The one original fob which matches the OEM part number these are for does work. This leads me to the conclusion that these aftermarket replacements are incompatible with a 2008 Saturn Aura

So glad I bought this!
Our Chevy Malibu had 1 dysfunctional key and 2 non working key fobs. I bought this, switched out the guts from our key fobs and had both keys cut and programmed for $25. Game changer!

You get what you pay for. Good for the price.
Only one of the two key fobs worked. Locksmith said one was defective. Whether you can program yourself or not depends on your vehicle. Mine could not be done without a machine and a locksmith. The 2 blank keys worked for making spares and one keyfob works without issue. If both fobs had worked I would have given 4 stars.
