I usually don't like for my 7 yr old to have painted nails, but on occasion I will let her put stickers on her nails. I think this still allows her to be a child and doesn't sexualize her the same way nail polish would. The unicorn theme is cute and cartoony. When on a playdate, I like for the children to not just play independently the whole time. This is the special time we have to do projects and fun things we don't normally do day to day. I don't know what happens at other kids houses but I'd like to know that if a child comes to my house they do something fun and productive. I also like the idea of including these in kids goodie bags for parties. $10.99 seems like a fair price to pay for purchasing this activity.

We had the idea of getting some mail stickers that she could put on her own nails. Then she can decorate them and take the stickers off herself as she chooses. First, when looking at the package, there are a lot of English errors. The company needs to focus on getting a better translator. Inside the package are 12 pages of mail stickers. Of course they’re tiny, as they’re for little one’s nails. They have to be. But they are NOT easy to get off the page. The package suggests using tweezers. I can certainly do that as a grown adult, but that will be tough for a child. Some of the designs are just…odd. It’s not that hard to create stickers that appeal to children. Some of these are great. Some I’m just not sure what the company was thinking. Overall there are plenty that will bring delight and keep me from having to paint her nails and take the polish right off again. But the company could easily focus on making the product better.
