these are a bit flimsy i thought when i took them out the box, i guess things are not made how they used to be !! having said that they look great and perform well, rapid boil is a godsend . easy controls for toaster , so far no leakage from the kettle so all good

Great looking kettle and toaster set

The toaster does not evenly toast and the kettle is extremely loud, like a jet plane taking off. Have had them for a month now, so thought it was ample time to give a genuine review. It is definitely not value for money. Design is lovely.

Edit: toaster now completely trips the electric regardless of slice size. Kettle has gotten louder. Customer service are terrible and are not complying with consumer rights legilation in regards to refund. I'm buying a different set from Currys this afternoon.Original review:Firstly, the delivery of this product was awful. It was left in the pouring rain in a muddy puddle behind my dustbin...no attempt to knock at the front door (as per door camera review)... Just straight to the back of the house, dump it and drive off. I messaged VonShef about this and they said it's an Amazon issue, however the delivery was conducted by Yodel and not Amazon themselves.These products look great. That's where it ends. The finish is a fingerprint magnet.The kettle: this is a noisy kettle, not so much 'rapid boil' as stated. It boils the same as any other kettle. The lid flips open halfway and then you have to manually open it the rest of the way to make enough space for your tap to fill it up.Toaster: dials are very loose. You almost have to balance them in place. No clicks when turned. It almost feels like they do nothing at all when turned. If you load it with anything but regular sliced bread it will cut all the electric off in your house (forget your thick cut tiger breads or crimpit toasties). This has happened for too many times now and we're resorting to toasting in the air fryer or grill for most stuff now.Truly shoddy product

I always wanted a kettle that pours well but somehow they’ve always come up short, this one does it beautifully and the whole design looks good too. The toaster is a bit on the small side, a little more form over function but you can’t win em all. Overall happy with this purchase.
