Good product

I use Korean skincare regularly and this was my first time trying this brand. I was especially excited because this is a peptide serum, which is one of my favorite things to use on the face. The tube arrived nicely packaged and was in perfect condition. The tube is 1.69fl oz in size. The color of the serum is a pearly translucent and it has a faint pleasant fragrance. It is meant to be dispensed by rolling the metal roller on the face while pushing the tube so the product comes out. The top part can also be untwisted and the product can be applied without the roller.While I love the idea of the roller and do like to use metal rollers on my face, this one is slighly cumbersome in terms of pushing the tube to get the product out. It doesn't always come out well. I prefer to either untwist the cap, apply the serum and then to use the roller - or just untwist the cap to apply the serum without the roller.I do enjoy this peptide serum very much and find that it gives me brighter, more 'glassier' skin - I just do not love how the roller works.

This serum is unique and I like the roller applicator. It includes exfoliating ingredients, which is excellent for textured skin or if you're dealing with discoloration or signs of aging. If you want softer skin, this is a good option to try.

Upon taking the product out of the box, I noticed a small orange spot on the side of the tube that didn’t seem to be related to the white cream inside. I am still not sure what it is but I cleaned it with alcohol just to be safe.The serum has an herbal, minty scent reminiscent of tea tree, but it's subtle once applied to the face. It has a gel texture that absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling matte but moisturized. The spicules do sting but it feels similar to the irritation from over-exfoliating rather than a painful sensation. I am writing this review after using this product for 3 weeks and my tolerance has slightly increased so now the spicules feel more like itching instead of stinging. Interestingly, the roller helps alleviate some of the discomfort, and using a fan also helps dissipate the irritation faster. I don't feel anything after a few minutes when the product fully absorbs into my skin. After using it three times a week for 3 weeks, I noticed that my skin looks less dehydrated, brighter, more even, less dull and my post-acne marks have lightened a bit.I have two major concerns about this product. First, the instructions are vague—there’s no guidance on how much serum to use or how often to apply it. I had to read reviews of similar products from other brands to get an idea of how to best use this product. This lack of clarity from PESTLO is particularly troubling for a product that can be irritating. And second, the design is more complicated than it needs to be and detracts from the overall experience. There’s no seal between the roller and the bottle, so you have to trust that the cap and box provide enough protection. The design also makes it difficult to gauge how much product is being dispensed since the roller obstructs your view. Additionally, there's often leftover product trapped between the roller and the tube opening, which feels wasteful. I found a more effective application method by opening the tube and dispensing the serum onto my finger before applying it directly to my face. This allows me to see how much product I'm using and minimizes waste.While I like the concept behind the PESTLO Rejurecipe Spicule Roller Serum, the execution has several shortcomings. The roller and serum would fare better as separate components to provide better visibility of the product being used. Given the potential for irritation from the spicules, clear instructions and a more user-friendly design are crucial for ensuring safe and effective use. Overall, I see potential in this product but believe improvements are needed for a better experience.

Great serum, super moisturizing. My face feels super refreshed after use. I really like this serum.

I usually love this brand and their skincare but I tried this serum twice and my skin reacted very poorly. Not for me, with my usually reactive skin - I like this brand and was excited about the roller but this isn't it for me. Be careful if you have very sensitive or reactive skin.

This arrives nicely boxed and I really like the design of this tube/applicator. Pretty cool!This emerges as a whitish serum. It has a citrus scent and it disperses over skin quickly. It does take a moment to absorb, but do not worry, it truly does absorb! Skin is left soft and not one bit tacky/sticky. I love that!This does such a great job at making my skin plump and radiant. I am surprised at the price of this! I have serums that are twice as expensive and do half as well! I am really, really loving this!Finally, I have very sensitive skin and this did nothing but leaving me positively glowing! Amazing!
