Dr Mercola Healthy Pets Digestive Enzymes for pets (150g for Cats & Dogs)

My 12yr old dog has been on digestive enzymes for a couple of years and they’ve made a huge difference to his health and appetite. This brand is easier to use than the others I’ve tried because it comes in powder rather than tablet form so it mixes easily with his food. While a jar is quite a lot of money, it’s used in tiny quantities so it lasts a long time.

One of my cats was pasing blood-covered poos after eating a very posh, vet-approved biscuit (the biscuit contained corn. Corn and grains are hazardous for dog and cats digestive health in many cases)I finally found a raw meat that he would eat consistently (he's picky my cat!) and after about a month he made normal poos without the blood coating. He also put some weight on and his coat improved too. I add these enzymes in as he doesn't have all his teeth so this should help with his digestion.The enzymes have been a great help with my female cat who, though she liked raw chicken liver, never seemed to be able to keep it down. Now I chop the liver, pour some boiled water on it to warm it through without cooking it, drain of most of the water and add a scoop of Mercola Enzymes plus a bit of Fortiflora (to cover the enzyme smell, plus she likes Fortiflora and has come to expect a sprinkle on the liver now) It has resolved the vomiting brilliantly. I never usually leave reviews on Amazon but this stuff has been amazing. My dog got pancreatitis and after an expensive vet bill I read on line that enzymes can help. Since we started her on this she has been a different dog. Her bowles are so much better and no return of the pancreatitis will feed this to all my dogs from now on.

I have a 3 year old Sharpei who has endless problems. One of those being the inability of his body to use nutrients in the same way other dogs do. He basically drops weight quite badly if he skips a meal (most of the time because he wants to only eat chicken😊). Since using this product he has bulked up and is looking good. Even his fur is thicker. I only gave 4 stars as I would like to see whether or not it is long-term help or whether or not I am just imagining that he is looking better. Time will tell but so far I am impressed.

I chose this product after reading a review on an American website about Bernese Mountain Dogs. I had just acquired a BMD cross from the local rescue centre here in France and he had constant diarrhea. After many different treatments and adjustments to his diet by myself and the vet I finally stumbled upon information about the breed having a possible lack of enzymes in the gut from the pancreas and other organs, to be able to digest the food. Then the article about BM dogs suggested D. Mercola's digestive enzymes. The author wrote about a dramatic change in the dog's digestive system from the first treatment and I started to think the article was just another advertising claim. Anyway by that time after weeks if coping with a new dog that barked to go out every hour or so I would have tried anything.This product was everything described in the article, and he was actually cured from the first treatment. Just a sprinkle of the powder on his food was all I needed to add and I was able to get a good night's sleep for the first time in weeks. Now I am starting to sound like an advert! Just a simple, non drug treatment, that changed our dog's outlook completely. Do not be put off by the price, you only need a tiny amount every day, there is a little measuring spoon included, but by that time I would have paid anything! Thanks.

This powder is worth it's weight in gold! Our staffie was diagnosed with IBD when we got her as a rescue 2 years ago and although she is restricted to a grain free diet, her condition flares up regularly (weekly!) and it's been miserable! She goes from being starving hungry to being off her food overnight and then back to being hungry again within hours? Her stomach rumbles so badly that you can hear it across the room and when this happens all she wants to do is eat grass. She's bloated, poos at least five times a day and the flatulence is toxic!! I've been giving her this powder for 2 weeks now and everything has calmed right down, it's unbelievable!

People should be aware that this product arrived with a 2.5g scoop, NOT 0.8g as advertised, so the directions of half a scoop (for cats) would be 3 times too much, and I only noticed this after I had been giving my an overdose for a week! This is a very serious mistake for the manufacturer to make and could have dangerous consequences so have reported to Amazon... It also had no best before date anywhere on it... The product (even after adjusting the dose) did not make my cat with IBD and pancreatitis better, but it seemed to make her itch more so I stopped it, but now she is still itching all the time. I had such high hopes for this and had expected much better from Mercola... :(

The enzymes are great, he doesn't mind the taste and it's had a really postie effect on his digestive health. I'm wanting to try the probiotic's and mushroom powders next. I'm very happy with this product.

I feed my dog a high quality kibble called purevita by nutrisource a limited ingredient, grain free kibble. It has high quality ingredients including a probiotic and a good fiber content for healthy digestion. Anyway, my little dog is in her teens now and has started to erp and swallow a little between meals. I got Dr. Mercola's digestive enzyme product after reading the ingredients, comparing with other products. Dr. Mercola's formulation was the best I saw. I have been sprinkling a little on her food and no more erping. She has good digestion and her discomfort is gone. I don't need to use as much as directed on the label. My dog is little, only about 16-17 pounds. I would estimate I use less than 1/8 tsp. for each meal and it works great. Glad I bought Dr. Mercola's.

Ho un cane con moltissime sensibilità alimentari. Questo integratore aggiunto ad una dieta fresca ha permesso di ridurre vomito e prurito nel cane drasticamente. Premetto che laDieta che fa è assolutamente controllata e fresca ma nel suo caso non funzionava al 100%.Con questi enzimi abbiamo tolto la difficoltà di digestione a fine pasto.Lo tollera veramente bene. Da provare perché potrebbe dare fastidio la proteina del maiale.( allergia/intolleranza)Nel nostro caso, anche se il cane non tollera molto bene il maiale, questi enzimi non le causano nessun effetto avverso.Per nausea vomito intolleranze e cattiva digestione è il top.

No funcionan a mi perra le da diarrea. Probé las enzimas anteriores de otra marca y se resolvió. Lo probé otra vez y lo mismo..... Además el polvo es más fino y menos oloroso. No creo que lleven las enzimas que dicen .
