Quality of lens very good , the autofocus is manual and easy to use, the pics i have taken using this lens i'm very pleased with. you have to adjust your cameras settings for best pics. Very good price. Thanks.

Good value for money
Take a sec to get used to. If you want a cheap lens to take fun pictures of wildlife or even the moon then i recommend this. Definitely worth the money. However if you want to take professional with top notch quality then recommend a more pricey lens all in all the zoom range is impressive and quality of the item is nice.

The best low-end product you can buy
Is it sharp? No. Does it have any automation, any button or anything? No. Does it have stabilisation? No. But with £60 you get that ultra long reach for those times when you need it or those times you feel inspired to photograph wildlife. Worth every penny.

Your camera must be able to be set to take images without a lens attached.
Very impressed for the money. I know the quality probably won't be as good as a major brand lens, but I wanted a lens for mainly taking images of the moon, and when taking images of the moon I would usually switch the camera to full manual, including aperture, shutter and focus. With this lens the same has to be done plus your camera must be able to be set to enable photos to be taken without a lens attached as there are no contacts on the lens at all, so the camera won't recognise that this lens is even attached. I had a quick opportunity this morning to get a few quick shots to compare with my normal zoom lens, but apart from not being a full moon there was also some light cloud, but this was of course the same for my own lens. A major consideration is unless a lens is extremely poor, an optical zoom will be better than a digital zoom. A couple of images are attached and the first is with my current lens at it's maximum zoom of 240mm, the second image is with the 420-800mm lens at 800mm just to give an idea. With more time I'm sure I will be able to improve the results. If I thought I would be getting more opportunities to take images of the moon I may have spent the money to get a main brand lens, but at less than £70 I think it's actually pretty impressive. With further opportunities I will add some more samples.

Great zoom lens
Great zoom lens. Fits my Canon perfectly. Good price for what it is. Would definitely recommend.

Good but you need to practice.
Good lens, well made full manual focus lens. Does help with taking distance photographs, especially luna photography (moon photographs). The drawback well being able to help with taking pictures of the moon (main reason I purchased it), it does lack the magnification and focus to really pull out the finer details of the moon surface, which the listing strongly suggested it could. Can be heavy on a tripod, so make sure everything is tight or may find it tipping to a different angle instead of what you set it to.

Very cheap and you get what you pay for.
The Canon lens is £2K. This one was £60 and doesn't have autofocus or image stabilisation. I did a few test shots & couldn't get a sharp image, even using a mini-tripod & remote release. Not worth having. I returned it.
