Very pleased. I usually try to purchase name brand products. So I was considering the kitchen Aide branded version. However for less money this came with more features. I decided to try it. Build quality seems solid, easy to clean and assemble, fits our kitchen aide stand mixer perfectly, and light weight. Functions perfectly. I ground ten pounds of fresh meat in a matter of minutes.

Bought this as my regular one broke, it fit my mixer nicely. The only thing I didn’t like was it is metal and if you are grinding something frozen, like cranberries, it freezes up.

Great alternative grinder! I didn't want to spend the money for the name brand so instead got this one and have used it multiple times to grind different meats and vegetables. It was easy to use, attached to my kitchen-aid mixer with no problem and was a breeze to clean. Definitely worth the money.

Only used it one time so far to process 6lb of venison. Worked great for that. Seems like it is good build quality. Biggest thing is to remember it is NOT an industrial grinder. I chunked all my meat 1.5”-2” cubes(just smaller than the feed hole) and it ground it as fast as I could put it down the tube. Definitely going to use it again! UPDATE: I use this way more than I thought I would. We ground around 10lb of extra beef roast without a problem. Also just ground 11lb of venison And 4lb of pork coarse and fine grind. Worked like a champ. We used the big sausage tube and made summer sausage then the small one for some hot dogs. First attempt and it worked really well! Super impressed

I figured I would give this a shot since it is so much cheaper than the name brand. Well worth it. It is well made and grinds quickly and consistent. I ground up 6 pounds of New York strip to make burgers in no time. Grind was great, a very small amount, like a teaspoon sized piece was left in the grinder when I was done. Other reviews say the "chrome fish" comes off in the dishwasher. Well, the tube and other parts are NOT chrome plated, they are polished aluminum so yes, sending it through the dishwasher will make it dull and black. So saying its faulty because they can't read the cleaning instructions is misleading. Hand washing it takes no time at all, and guess what? Its still shiny and no black residue because it wasn't washed in the dishwasher! Next is to grind and process some sausage.

I’m very disappointed with this KitchenAid meat grinder attachment. It didn’t fit securely and caused my mixer to shake and fall off the counter while in use. It even hit my foot and damaged my mixer, which I bought with my savings. Very unsafe and poor design. I don’t recommend this product.

It works, but it’s basic… We love to cook! This works pretty well, but the parts are not great! They leave black marks on your hands and oxidize so easily! It’s a huge bummer. We will be looking for something better and of greater quality, full stainless steel.
