World Wars Hardcover – September 3, 2024

This book is a must have for any child who is fascinated by American History and all of its wars. The pictures are gorgeous and the text is wonderfully written. I would have to say that this book is perfect for ages 10 and up. I do wish that it provided a bit more back story to the events that led to the countries siding with each other at the start of the first World War. If you haven't been studying American History leading up to the point of these wars, you might need to do a bit more background research with your child before you take on this book.

Vibrant and detailed. This book is being used to round out our survey of American history for 3-6th grade homeschool history. The pictures are eye-catching, and the time line is well laid out. Love this for visual learners.

This was a Christmas present for my 9 year old son. It is only Dec 31st and we have completed the 240 pages - word for word. It was excellent.It is well written with lots of pictures, maps and online references for more study. It does not skirt the difficult issues and presents the facts of the war in a very balanced and thoughtful manner. Neither glorifying nor trivializing the terrible events, I found it to be a great primer for both me and my son.

Great Resource in homeschool. We love to use living books in homeschool. This is hardbound, vivid illustrations, however, nothing too graphic for middle school aged children. I would not recommend for under 12 because of graphic war content. I just love usborne books. I'm so glad they offer here.

It is in nice condition for a used book! I would recommend buying this book for anyone who likes history.

This is a very thorough book. It gives a ton of information and has been a good resource for our homeschool.

Great way to teach my two boys (12 and 10) about WWI and WWII. Every page is full of pictures and thorough/interesting text. Great way to cover the World Wars.
