Very good product and price performance.
I have reduced my 'second' system down to a Logitech Squeezebox on a fibre link feeding a Beresford DAC and to this D class TDA7498E Fosi amp and a pair of 60W MordauntShort book end speakers. (So I figure at 8ohms the 160W is giving 40w per channel.)I was a bit apprehensive on the Fosi amp, but did not need to worry - it is a very powerful , crisp amp that is more than enough to fill any room!!Very compact and good quality metal work, volume control and on/off switch. Rear banana plugs and RCA pair are fine. The DC PSU unit looks solid enough and am confident it is a quality product.....time will tell. (Reminds me of my old HP laptop PSU unit, so better than some of the less powerful soap on a rope types)I have no hum when no signal at full volume. This is my first D class amp and am very happy with it. It is more than enough to fill my room and doesn't need the space and cooling of my earlier amps.Only observation is the volume kicks in early on the pot wipe, I prefer to have a little more to play with. But given the price/performance (bang for buck) it's a no brainer.Enjoy and good luck.

lots of power , good enough sound quality
works well , tiny with excellent power , good back up from the manufacture for silly questions . I have an old JVC cd player that I'm attached to , that got dragged out during lockdown and put into service in the gym , only issue , it has lousy little speakers so I got a pair of Wharfdale bookcase speaker - which the JVC was not powerful enough to drive ( my fault for not looking into it ) this unit connected via the JVC outputs delivers more sound output than you would ever need , excellent bass , sound quality is good but I cannot comment too much as I'm running from a geriatric cd player but sounds good to me . the unit is small ( fits on my window sill ) neat and has no bad habits that I have found so far . The manufacture help me fault find ( again totally my fault ) I ended up with a single strand of speaker cable that I hadn't noticed bridged the terminals giving intermittent sound .

Remarkable achievement considering the size and price!
I bought this as a temporary stop gap while my Quad power amplifier is being repaired and I have to say how surprised I am that it even gets a look in on my system. And yet it manages not only to be a good substitute, it exceeds my expectations of how a Class D should sound compared with the Class AB amplification I'm used to. The glare of earlier Class D chips is replaced by a much smoother, indeed perhaps a little too smooth sound. Certainly this tiny device that's much smaller than any amplifier I've used to date can belt it out like the best of them and considering the low price paid, I can forgive the general lack of musical clarity compared with a good Class AB, which I guess can be put down to the Class D signal processing. It nevertheless manages to achieve quite acceptable results from such a tiny box while consuming next to no power (hardly warms up)! I think the chip used in this Fosi is the same or similar to that used in the new Wim integrated amp that's got everyone in the HiFi world talking, although that unit's Class D implementation is far more sophisticated and so commands a higher price (although still low compared with many mainstream receiver/amplifiers). So, if you're looking for a small, minimalist integrated amplifier (with a single RCA input, but you can use a switch box) that can take a decent line level source such as a music streamer or even a vinyl phono-amp's output and send it to a half decent pair of passive speakers through its Class D circuitry, then this little box could be all you need! It may not be the best thing in HiFi, but considering its low cost, it does a perfectly decent job all the same! My main quibble is with the stated power output of 160W/channel; an unlikely feat given the 24V power supply is rated at 108W. Maybe transient peak output into 2 ohms, but as others have pointed out, 35W/channel RMS into 8 ohms is a far more realistic figure. That's adequate for most but won't blow the windows out!

Great little amp
This is a brilliant little Amp, can’t fault the sound quality and there’s more than enough head room. It’s a steel for the cost, I have noticed some bad comments in the reviews and I can only say that this little amp will be only as good as the signal you put through it. Personally. I’m using pro gear that has professional Pre amps and even the volume up and faders open there is no noise.Pioneer Opus Quad which is usually operated with large sound systems. This amp allows me to use my equipment in a home environment as well.

Brilliant sound quality at a great price
I have a Brennan JB7 and a Bose Acoustimass 5 sound system, the two together have never really given me the depth, clarity and quality of sound I had when the sound system was driven by my Denon amps. Probably due to the fact that the Brennan only puts out 30w per channel and the Bose is rated for up to 200w, the sound system was barely breaking sweat. The Brennan had to be run at very nearly maximum volume at which point the sound quality was beginning to suffer. After agonising for ages over which way to go in order to get the best out of the Bose I thought for the money it would be worth trying this power amp. What a transformation. With increased power output the Bose just takes it in its stride, delivering everything that`s being missing for so long. Brilliant!

Pocket rocket!
For the money, this is an absolute bargain - it's performance massively belies its humble price.Extremely well made, very solid build and lovely minimal design - just a toggle switch and a volume knob on the brushed aluminium front panel.Connections are very high quality, particularly the speaker terminals, with a clear plastic screw section. The sound is staggering for such a small, cheap unit - as other reviewers have said, it is loud, detailed and articulate. The compact size is a real plus - I have been able to free up a load of desk space by replacing an old Sony full size amp with this.Best £60 I have spent in a long time!
