As I have only had the boots for a month, my opinion may change but, so far, they seem to be a bargain at under £50. Sadly, my walking these days is restricted to dog walking but even so, I need something sturdy, comfortable and waterproof.Back in my walking days and up until recently I have for many years had GRIsport boots. Unfortunately the last two pairs have been a disaster. One pair disintegrated whilst clearing snow last winter and the other pair have recently started leaking, the soles have split all over and turned to sponge; both pairs were only two years old. Needing something for walking the dog I did quite a bit of research and was left with more questions than answers. None of the makes I know of seemed to have good reports and the GRIsport sole problem appears to be fairly common.At £46.95 I decided to give these a try even though they were a name new to me, I felt I had nothing to lose. Delivery was quick and the boots came with an extra pair of laces and a carry/storage bag. From first putting them on they were comfortable, very comfortable. Size wise (UK 9) they are excellent. I have a broad foot and often have difficulty with the fit of any foot ware. These are super even with one pair of socks they are not too big and are just as comfortable with two.In the few weeks that I have had them they have had some really good tests on a daily basis. Good grip on ice and in slippy mud. Certainly waterproof both in rain and when walking through deep puddles and soft boggy grass and marshy areas. So far they have passed every test. I haven't yet tried in a stream of running water, I leave that to the dog.The only test now is time and how long they will last. Even if it is only eighteen months they are better value than boots costing two to three times the price and only lasting two years.So far very happy.

These boots are very soft and good quality leather. The insole is really thin and offer virtually no under foot comfort. I swapped the insoles for memory foam but this just filled the boot up and made them uncomfortable. I found that they weren't wide enough for me. If these boots had been a bit wider (although probably fine for most people) and they had soft insoles i wouldn't have returned them as they are very nice boots. For most people these are probably going to be fine as in other aspects they were great.

I've been using these boots for a few months now and they work for me. They settled in for me quite quickly and I had no rubbing issues, no complaints about water resistance.

I got an Amazon voucher for Christmas from my employer and decided to take a chance on these boots as they seemed to get good reviews. I wasn't expecting much for such a low price, but I was pleasantly surprised. They come with a spare pair of laces and a fabric bag, nice touches that more expensive brands should consider. The boots themselves seemed okay, but I wanted to give them a good test before deciding if they were up to the job.Now I have worn them for a couple of months and have tried them in various conditions, including walking through very wet grass and deep puddles. They haven't let any water in and the leather has started to loosen up from the initial stiffness. They didn't really need a lot of breaking in, as they were comfortable from the get go.I usually pay at least twice this price for hiking boots, sometimes four times this price. These boots seem to be at least as good as the brands I normally go for. They're also really easy to put on and take off and are overall a delight to wear. I might have to buy a second pair as they're really that good!I think the only problem is I would love them to do half sizes. I find that size 11 is a good fit if I wear a second pair of socks, so I imagine a 10.5 would be perfect for everyday walking.

I am a night shift security guard who does a lot of walking in all weathers. A comfy pair of boots are a must.These boots are great and I have used this brand before without any problems. This particular boot has one flaw which is the stitching right at the heel on the inside. First time I wore them I got blisters on both heels. I had to soften them up using washing up liquid and put plasters on my heels for the first week of wearing them. Now I have worn them in properly they are extremely comfortable and I no longer get blisters.They are extremely good for walking in the rain and provide a nice grip too.They are easy to clean and very durable.Nice boots but wear them in around the house and soften the heels before going outdoors with them.

These boots have the look and feel of boots twice their price and the sizes are accurate, I didn't even need to break them in and they are so comfy and keep my feet warm and dry, they even come with an extra pair of bootlaces, amazing quality for the price and I will definitely buy from this company again.

Replacing euro hike 111 which are very comfy. Having had several pairs where the exterior surface fell to bits I decided on a change.Looked at a lot of reviews. Even the higher price boots seem to be be made in China and have a significant number of poor Ireviews - falling apart and poor fit.Decided on the Northwest Territory, decent reviews and a very good price.Several months down the line, Boots have been severely tested and stood up to everything thrown at them.Feet have stayed dry, warm and comfortable.I would buy again.Update after 6months use: I am still pleased with these boots. The soles have worn well after daily use. The metal work is fine. The surface has not suffered any breakdown.Other manufacturers take note.

Sturdy, comfortable and waterproof! I’m averaging 15 hours a week hiking in these and they’re performing way better than branded boots I’ve got through at twice the price.
