Marvel Studios Avengers: Infinity War

The end of the beginning
So, the culmination of a decade of films. Did it live up to the build up? Yes and no. If you're a comic book purist there's plenty to pick holes in in characterisation and plot points. Maybe your favourite character didn't get as much screen time as you'd have liked. Me? I actually enjoyed this. The interplay of characters we've never seen on screen together was a highlight, they've used some of the humour we finally saw in Ragnarok and characters who are usually more dour came out with some terrific one liners. Now, the question is how can they continue the film given the ending? It concerns me that they're going to find some loophole in the system and give us an ending more like we'd get in Doctor Who. All we need to do now is wait for the conclusion and hope that the next ultimate team up will not be an anti-climax.

Great film, loved it, love it, love all the Marvel films.
Fantastic film, part one in an epic conclusion of a great story. Be sure to have seen at least some of the films leading up to this one, then watch Endgame as soon as possible. 3d version was a bit odd, possibly because I watched it on a playstation vr headset.

Absolutely brilliant film
I love most of the Marvel Universe films and this is definitely one of the best. Although the first of two films (Avengers 4 being the follow-up) it is a brilliant film/story in it's own right. With the majority of the old and newer Avengers involved in the fight against their greatest enemy yet there is plenty of action and more than a few surprises. The mix of danger and humour is just right (unlike Ragnarok) and the climax will blow you away (unless you've fallen foul of spoilers). I would highly recommend this film and, having bought the 3D version, I will be watching this again more than once.

Perfect offer
The film arrived normally and in perfect condition. I enjoyed it in both 2D and 3D and it reminded me of the first time I saw it in the cinema with its amazing performance in audio and video. Many thanks to Amazon for the offer 😊👍

Ten years led to this
This movie is the beginning of the culmination of Marvel's masterfully woven cinematic universe. Beginning back in 2008 with iron man, we are finally seeing the results of all the movies have been pointing to; and it did not disappoint. Thanos is a complex villain, with deeper and more interesting desires than just "world domination." The dilemmas all the characters face in this movie (both the heroes and the villains) are truly thought provoking and leave you on the edge of your seat. No other set of movies has beeen so involved, so expanded, and encompassed so many story lines/characters and previous movies. The sheer amount of star power alone in this film is insane; and they do a masterful job of weaving all these unique and various characters into a common storyline.

A great addition to the canon of the avengers in 3d.
If you read comics or have ever read them , it was a good idea to present the infinity war on the screen. This film is depressing in it's ending but in april 2019 , antman joins again and all will be well So just enjoy this great film in 3d and if you never read any avengers comics , I must ask why not?

A fantastic film, especially to see at home in 3D ...
A fantastic film, especially to see at home in 3D Blu-ray!A great continuation of the Marvel Universe too, but hard to tell where the story will go after this...As always Amazon delivered on time and the item was well-packaged. The Blu-ray features both the standard and 3D versions, and there are a wealth of extras to learn more about the filming, production and lots more besides.

Worked on my PS3
This is the second 3d DVD that is marked Region 12 that I've purchased from an overseas vendor in Amazon that has worked on my PS3 console here in the US. It also helped that I have a Sony Bravia TV which allows me to sync the PS3 controls with my TV remote. I can select DVD menus using it. Happy to add this dvd to my limited 3d collection.

Probably Prefer 4K
This is a wierd disc. There are quite a few moments of 3D pop. The depth is solid and wonderful through-out, even though a lot of the film is rather dark. The detail here is what takes a pretty noticable dip compared to the 4K. I almost always prefer my 3D disc, but with this one there's just a certain WOWfactor that is missing. On 4K (even without DolbyVision) things really pop and have a sense of realism - but they really don't seem to in 3D. Maybe if Disney hadn't gone cheap and actually given us the IMAX footage for the 3D release (like they always do - except for their largest movie yet?) this review would be very different. But alas, as it is, the 4K is going to give you more Avengers bang for your buck.

Not a review. Just a rant.
The movie and the service are great. This really is not a review of the bluray or the seller. I just wanted to give a thumbs down to the greedy and customer unfriendly Disney company. I realize that 3d and 4k movies are not mainstream but there is a fan niche of the two formats and Disney is so self absorbed that they ignore the U. S. contingent. If one desires a bluray in the 3d format, they must purchase an import. That makes no sense to me. As for the 4k format, Disney's exorbitant pricing is ludicrous. I apologize for wasting your time but I just needed to vent.
