Excellent headphones. The sound from an mp3 player is great and listening to other higher quality sources of music these headphones really shine. The dynamic range in my opinion is excellent with nice deep bass to a crisp treble with clear mid sound make for a pleasant listen all round. Also the ability to replace leads or individual headphones should they become damaged is a nice touch especially as the cable on older shures tended to be a weak point (this has now been strengthend on this version). Very pleased with my purchase

good earphones although a tad fiddly at times to fit. they cancel out noise very well for the price. happy

These have been my daily driver in the office for about 6months now.They sound great, no over emphasis on the bass. just a crisp sound signature. ( i listen to Rock / Indie / Metal ) and these work great for me.I especially love the replaceable cable considering how many earphones I have brutally murdered over the years.You wont regret these.

Well I got these to block out tube noise, plane noise and noisy neighbours, they do this very very effectively even with no music playing. Sound quality is also fantastic with just the right amount of bass. They are professional headphones so don't expect dre levels of bass, buy them to hear quality music in a quality way.

I bought these hopes in the hope that the price and reputation of the brand would guarantee a good product.I think that it is overpriced for the quality that it offers. Sound wise is not out of this world. Additionally, in order to feel all the benefits from environment noise isolation, the fit in the ear needs to be perfect, but this is really difficult to achieve (or maybe my ears are weird) and the earplugs keep popping out, no matter what bud I use.Also, I use for running and it doesn't hold in the ear, which annoys me to no end.

I really like listening to these headphones, the sound is great, and with the foam earpieces they are very good at blocking sound.However, they are very fiddly to put into your ears, with the bizzare forward/upwards facing wires. Because you often have to twist one of the wires over to fit over your ear, the cables will often tangle and not lie nicely.Because the sound isolating is so good, I often need to remove one of the ear pieces in order to hear what is going on around me, which means I then have to put it back in, which isn't easy.Overall I'm pleased I bought them, but I'll probably only use them when to listen to music when I don't think I'll be interrupted very often, or when I need to be aware of my surroundings.

Great sound, lives up to its expectations

So these headphones aren't earth-shatteringly good, but at their price point they're unrivalled. I found them to be a bit muddy/cloudy sounding (if that makes sense) but that's really only in comparison with other MUCH better, and much more expensive, headphones.Putting them into your ears is a lil bit tricky, not a deal breaker they're just a wee bit awkward.If these brake in three years time I'll definitely buy them again, if they brake sooner than that I'll see what shure say before moving on.Absolutely recommended for anyone looking at sub €150 iem's.
